Everything that I see and hear about this product is positive. The price is fair. On-line videos give good instruction and I suggest they be viewed carefully (view several). The product seems to be of quality construction. Like all forms of insurance, I hope I never have to use it. However, it does give some sense of possibly saving life if the worst (bear attack) happens.

I ordered this product to help my wife feel more secure during a recent backpacking trip in a national park. We saw several black bears - some grazing not more than 100 yards from our campsite, but fortunately had no cause to use this product. I will say that the hip holster addition is worth the extra cost. Another person in our group ordered the version without and it was really nice to be able to attach our can to the hip belt of my wife's pack.

Seems to be a nice product, but I will pass final judgement when a beat attacks me............I do know that if you buy this type of product in the "tourist areas" it sells for $55.00 versus $31.00 thru wal mart.

Or any other species of predator.

I have used this product a couple of times and its very effective. Make sure you know what direction the wind is blowing, because it will blow back in your face. It will cause intense eye pain and trigger your sinuses to run, as well as intesnse burn feeling on your skin. I highly recommend this product, it works as advertised.

it came on time. I hope I never have to use it but at least now I feel safe at home or walking around where I live.

The item came insanely fast - delivered same day from a near by store. I was like WOW! The product will be perfect for it's intended use. BURGLARS :) I hope it never has to be used, but in the event - it should do the job!

This is a solid can of bear spray. As some reviewers had mentioned, having this can by my side does add some invincibility feeling (lol). Since this year's camping season is over, I am using this as a coyote deterrent while I walk my dog. I recommend this to anyone that wants some kind of peace of mind.

I have not had to use this yet and hope I dont have to but I purchased this spray based on the positive reviews and a great price. The delivery was on point!

Without actually using the spray, I am unable to give a fair review of the product; however, I only gave three stars, because the canister showed 05/2024 as the expiration, which is only a year and nine months from the current date. Ordinarily, bear spray has a three-year shelf life. At $42 a can, this date should definitely be later. I didn't return it, because I felt like I should have it for an upcoming hike.
