Well Make Camping Cookware
The handle is quite long, so a lot less chance of getting burned. I will say, the cast iron is quite heavy. Which I hope is a good thing. Well worth the price in here. I was looking at them all day on different sites. This was the best deal, particularly if you have free shipping.

Coghlan makes decent camping gear at a great price. these pie irons are of good make but the wood handles are not attached very well and one spins freely. it doesn't interfere with cooking, just disassembly. thanks

Perfect
Not for large bread but perfect for 2 people. My husband and I use this to share sandwiches over the fire. It's perfect!

The pie iron is heavy duty cast iron which is nice, but it is extremely heavy as the stick is pretty long. It's a little awkward, it almost feels like it's going to snap off due to the weight distribution. One of my irons arrived with a little rust on it, but that could have happened during transit. Overall it wasn't a bad purchase.

Arrived damaged and seems unstable
Arrived damaged through walmart same day shopping. Its broken where both plates connect through a hinge and the hinge is snapped off. Unfortunately cant exhange since i have to leave for a trip today i was gonna use it on. Still wouldnt recommend though. The holding rods seem way to weak to hold the size of the plate. Single plate option seems safer. The rods also do not screw in all the way into the plate.
