We tent camp a lot and having a raised bed is really nice. There is space underneath as well as a little side table on each side. The inflatable mattress could be better quality as we always have to top off before bed. It deflates a certain amount while lying on it but doesn't take a lot to refill. Also doesn't seem to affect the comfort while sleeping. We have been using this one for about 4 years and nothing has broken or become a problem.
I used this for a week-long event. I found it very comfortable. I did have an issue the first night, which was cold (36°), but solved the issue by adding a wool barrier between the mattress and me. I am not a small person. The cot and mattress are robust and I expect no issues.
I sleep on this Colman Airbed Frequently. I couldn't be happier! It is perfect height to get in and out of, it is very comfortable, and easy to set up. All you have to do to adjust the firmness is add or let out a little air. I have slept on it now for nine nights in a row and have not had to add any air at all. Also, the more air you add, the less noise it makes when you move around. If you like a firm mattress it makes no. Noise at all. The airbed is very sturdy and does not wobble around when turning at night I am very happy and would definitely recommend this bed to anyone
This is our second unit purchased but first through WalMart. We had to return it because the mattress would not stay inflated at all. Otherwise, we love the features and size. It's easy to pack and carry for road trips and comfortable to sleep on, even for a taller person (~6' for reference). Also, it can be a little noisy if not inflated fully and the person sleeping on it tosses and turns a lot.
So far there are many things we are impressed with about this cot -- one is that the cot itself is decently comfortable even w/o the mattress. I did a fair amount of research before buying this and am sure it will all turn out well, based on all the good reviews and solid Coleman brand. However, the set we received from WalMart included a slow leak in the mattress (maybe it had been in stock too long??) so we haven't been able to fully use it yet. Coleman was great about honoring the 1-yr warranty w/o an easy phone and online process and I'm sure the new set will perform very well.
Used in our new home before regular beds were delivered. Set up was easy and pump(batteries not included) worked well. Bed is ok for sleeping, not great because you tend to roll to the middle if alone. Overall product was well designed and served its purpose. The frame makes it much easier for us old farts to get out of.
I love the back support of this mattress. I really like the detachable side table with cup holders. The fabric does make a loud rubbing noise on the air bed. To fix this, I added mattress cover of a different fabric inside the zipper cover. The center bar in the frame didn't bother me that much. I ended up replacing the factory air bed with a thicker one, that had flocking on it.
horrible to setup. the mattress deflates throughout the night. the mattress never eliminates feeling the center bar making it unusable, espically when mattress deflates.
I’m only rating this bed as a 1 because the air pump didn’t work. It looked like it was missing a piece in it. I tried two sets of batteries and nothing. Thank God my friend I was with had a small generator and an air pump So I was able to use that to blow up the bed. Now the bed itself is amazing! It stayed blown up the whole 3 nights we used it camping! It was very comfy but will have to get my 6 year old her own bed lol was a bit small for two adults and her. My husband is 6 foot so his feet did hang off some but all in all I do recommend this bed.
The price was fair, but the mattress had several small holes in it right out of the box. It appears they were all in line with a crease where the mattress was folded at the factory. Now I need to get a replacement and ship the bad one back. Don't you just love online purchases!
