Coleman Enamelware Percolator, 14 Cup

I bought this one because it's what we used when I was a kid. My parents perked coffee, soups, teas what ever anyone wanted on a campfire, camping we knew just when the coffee was done by the color in the glass lid. Great memories.

Just what we wanted and expected.

Gave it to my husband as a Christmas gift...he was very happy with it! He especially liked that the pot makes 14 cups, as he does love his coffee. We're looking forward to trying it out on our next camping trip.

My dad and step mom have been looking for a stove top percolator so they can use their wood burning stove to make coffee. This was a nice choice. It is nice looking and makes upto 14 cups so it is significantly larger than most stove top options. The enamel finish looks much nicer than the stainless options. They love the coffee it makes and it does work perfectly on top of their wood burning stove. They have called and thanked us for this gift every day since Christmas. Awsome buy! This percolator is perfect for making coffee for the whole family or a group. It has a generous 14-cup capacity and feels sturdy and well made. If you enjoy strong, hot, camp-style coffee and usually make several cups at a time, it's worth it. If you only make coffee for one or two people, a smaller percolator would probably me more practical. For me this is perfect and my family. Very strong material.

The only downside is that since it is lightweight, it heats up quickly, so you need to keep an eye on it on the heat because you can scorch the coffee from it getting too hot. Also the handle does get hot, so make sure you have something to use to pick it up with. That being said, it's still a great percolator and I would suggest it for your campsite.

This is a great little kettle, however the enamel chips. Maybe I got a lemon. Other than that I have no complaints. It works as it should, but I don't want to risk using it anymore incase the inside starts to chip. It's affordable so you get what you pay for!

The clear plastic percolator top broke within two weeks of purchase.
