It is as described. Large enough for whole back or I can wrap around my knee when hurting. It turns off after about 2 hours. I turn it on in bed and the nice warm heat puts me right to sleep. It has 3 heat settings and I use the highest for pain and the lowest for just bed warmth
I had this item for about 4 1/2 months when the controller started flashing and the unit no longer heated. Comfytemp stood behind their product and sent a replacement unit. Customer service was very polite.
I really liked how the size was really nice to cover my full back. The heat settings were really good in providing the warmth. On the low setting it's really nice heat. If you need a little bit more, you go to medium. I don't know that I've gone to high very often if at all. The material of the heating pad is very very soft. It had a slight odor, but nothing that was a problem. It's nice and flexible so that if you need to contour it around your neck it can do that very easily.
This heating pad is the same size as a king size pillow. It is perfect. You can get your neck and your back and shoulders all in the same moment compared to the one where your trying to manipulate how much of it you can see this is really the best choice for a heating pad. I like the feel of the material. It's super soft and it has really good heat.
Very nice and comfy. It has 3 buttons for heat control but I found the first button to be just right. You can use it either position , across your upper body and shoulders or from waist to shoulders. NOW this is coming from an old woman only 5’1” still I think it will work quite sufficiently on a 6’2 person weighing 300 lbs. He or she might have to reposition the pad more often though. It pretty much covers me.
I am so happy w/this heating pad. I use it for my arthritis. It is large, lite weight, and soothing for me!!!
This heating pad has a great feel and is large enough, the only thing that could be corrected is the heating element is not quite hot enough.
If I rate it for softness this would raise the overall score. With a five. I do not want to do that. I have it in a pillowcase to keep it clean. The product cuts off every hour? Less? The placement in the cord and the weight of the controller pulls the heating pad off the bed. The product heats well when on.
The heating pad performs as expected. It has three temperature settings. Using the two warmest settings may be uncomfortable for most users unless they use extra padding. My primary complaint is that it automatically shuts off after about 30 minutes. This is probably a mandatory safety feature required by law, or a liability concern if a user burns themselves while sleeping on it at the highest heat setting. I would recommend that the manufacturer reduce the temperatures of the two high settings to allow for uninterrupted extended use.
It's a constant steady stream of heat for two hours. That's way too long. I'd rather have a 30 minute heat setting.
