used a clavical strap when i broke my collarbone on 15th birthday (mid-1970s). now, with scoliosis at age 65, it provides support which helps me to stand straighter, which is needed.
It has helped me get better posture.
Helps with my posture. Correcting my old lady rounding uppr back and shoulders. Tends to ride up against the base of my neck and has to be readjusted but dont know what would change that.
This is my first purchase of a posture corrector so I can't compare it other brands or styles therefore, I can only attest to the quality, fit, feel, function, and how it works for me. It is very well constructed %26 sturdy, the material is soft %26 comfortable, and the device works well at holding my shoulders in a straighter more correct position. It also seems to help with my upper back and shoulder pain. However, it is almost impossible to get on correctly by myself and impossible to adjust once I have it on. If it needs to be tightened or loosened I have to keep removing and putting back on or have someone adjust it for me until the fit is right. It's also uncomfortable under the arms because of the width of the straps but wearing over sleeves helps a bit. Like I said this is my first posture corrector and I will continue using it because it does help ease my pain, but in the meantime I will keep search for a more comfortable and easier solution. I would, however, recommend giving it a try, perhaps you won't have the same issues as I.
wish the would give some indication of sizes. I normally wear XL top and this L/XL was huge on me. will be returning to store. overall the quality of product looks really good.
It's good when it reminds me to hold my shoulders back, but it keeps on sliding up in te back and then does not really work as it should
It's ok. Wish there was a size guide online but there isn't so I bought the wrong size. I ordered the small/medium and it rides up the tighter you pull it. Don't see how it helps posture though in all honesty but maybe it does if you have the right size?
The big problem is that it keeps slipping upward on my back until it's touching my neck. At that point it's pushing down on the center of my shoulders, negatively affecting my posture, rather than pulling back on my shoulders. I've tried loosening and tightening to no effect. I find myself constantly readjusting it so it fits right. It's well made and will probably last for years, but its basic structure needs to be improved. I probably should return it.
Does not fit. I ordered a large but it's way too small. I believe it must be mislabeled as far as size goes.
It does not help at all really
