Coway Air Purifier Replacement Filter Pack Airmega 200M AP-1518R and AP-1512HH Mighty

I love my Coway air purifier. We smoke indoors and have pets, so we got the smoke HEPA filter to reduce the smoke in addition to having open windows + fans. It works very well and keeps the air clean. Friends who say they have cat allergies don't have any issues while they're over because there isn't dander around the air like there was. I love it and want to have it forever.

Really love your products, and how I can set up automatic 6 month replacement orders for when the old filters need swapped out.

The Coway air filter system is the best, most appropriate for my needs. It absolutely filters dust, hair, and particles in the air. I see the results every week. I am a Senior unable to clean as I used to. I have dust allergies and chronic migraines. I have two in my home and plan on getting two small canisters for other areas. The filters are brilliant and the systems are very quiet and thorough. I live in a moderately sized city not too far from a busy street.

Juniper & Cedar pollen is wreaking havoc in the Texas Hill Country due to warm temperatures and drought conditions. Air filtration is essential for quality of life. Rotation of filters on a regular schedule means better sleep at night and less respiratory challenges.

I own a Coway Omega Mighty 1512 and I am worried that the model may be discontinued. This filter allegedly fits the older model and I won't know until I replace the current one in about 10 months. The air here is so filthy that the filters do not last one year. I've been very satisfied with the 1512 for several years and hope that it runs for a long time.

I have horrible neighbors who continually smoke in their apartment unit so that the cigarette smoke comes into my apartment. I have Asthma and cannot breathe in the smoke long periods of time so I had to buy both the Airmega Mighty and Airmega 200M. I switched out the regular Charcoal Filters and replaced with the "Intense Smoke" versions to remove the cigarette smoke. I vacuum regularly so that I do not have problems with dust or allergens so I do not wear out the HEPA filters as fast as the Charcoal Filters. Like another reviewer, I do wish I had the option to only buy the "Intense Smoke" charcoal filters since I only use the Air Purifiers for smoke only.

I think these are higher quality than the knock-offs becuase they have more pleats. However, they smell SO GOD AWFUL for the first 4-ish days. And that's if you're running the fan constantly. I bet the smell would last even longer if you didn't have it constantly running. The smell does go away, but it makes the entire house smell awful for those first ~4 days.

I bought this product a Marketplace seller, NASDAQ. Upon receiving it, I realized it was a counterfeit product. There was no Coway branding on the box or filter. I compared it to the air filter I received with my purifier and it was clearly a fake. I bought specifically the Coway manufactured item, and so it was disappointing to get a counterfeit in the mail.

The replacement HEPA filter has a very powerful volatile smell, like kerosene or glue. I've let the filter sit in the sun for weeks before installing it, and left the machine running for days, and it still fills the air with a volatile smell. I can't use it in my bedroom anymore, so I guess I have to find a different brand of machine. Very ironic and too bad for a device that's supposed to clean the air.
