C&S High Energy Suet Treat, for Wild Birds, 3.5 Pounds

The Woodpeckers love these suet blocks and most little birds too!!! The cakes are a high energy food and they help all birds through the winter when their food supply becomes more limited! I myself go through a lot of these suet blocks especially during the winter. I hope Wal-Mart keeps their stock plentiful!!!!

It was a very good price for a 3 1/2 pound suet block! I'm not crazy about the second ingredient being corn, but the price makes up for it! Other blocks I've bought are only 3 pounds, also. I'm sure the birds won't mind.

I expected to receive two 8-packs of suet in approx 5” X 5” X 1” size, as I have received multiple times before. Instead I received two huge bricks of suet, same type and manufacturer (C%26S) that are about 7” high X 10” long X 3” thick, and weigh 3.5%23 each, which I can't use. Walmart is taking them back for a full refund, which is a good resolution. But I can't imagine what these huge bricks of suet are for. However, they were good quality at a good price, so for the right person, like an aviary or zoo, they would be fine.

The only reason I rated this so low is because nothing in the description told me it was one big brick of suet. We're not equipped to put this brick out so we're still figuring that out. We use the smaller cakes that fit in the little cages. NOW I know!!!

Suet is one block 6%261/2 in X 8 in X 2” thick. I know of NO suet cage it would fit and I would NEVER put one that SIZE outside for birds anyway!
