I feed the birds but, I have some very aggressive squirrels. I put the suet logs inside a tubular hanging feeder,and it is the only thing that slows them down and allows all the "good" birds to eat at leisure. ^he only drawback is that the logs are rarely in the stores and it is easier to order onlins

My finches go crazy for these suet sticks! They go through one of these large sticks every week and it is so much fun watching them compete over it. I have tried other suet brands and configurations but they like these the best. They are so much cheaper at Walmart than even on Amazon.

This product is great, it attracts many chickadees which we enjoyed to see them!

mostly this was something I like. as far as I can see the only drawback was that they're small which it does give the dimensions but I didn't really visualize how small that was till I saw it. however the birds the woodpeckers especially love it and it was super easy to hang it all came in one all ready to hang package what more could you ask except for that it might be a couple dollars cheaper

I love it because it pulls in birds that I don't usually see at my regular feeder, mainly Flickers and woodpeckers, which are big and beautiful. All the birds love it in late winter and early spring before the main food sources are plentiful. It gives them the energy they need for nesting time. I set up a separate one for the squirrels and chipmunks who also love it. My only complaint is the price keeps going up and the size went down.

This log weighs only one (1) pound. Description states in several places that the log weighs two (2) pounds. In addition, one of the three logs I ordered was broken into pieces when I received it.

I don't normally do reviews but I need to on this product. I have bought C%26S no melt peanut suet cakes for years with good results. They were out of stock so I ordered this. First of all the description says pack of 8 but you only get one. When I pulled it out of the bag it started to break apart and the wire they give you to hang it with must be zero gauge: very flimsy. I had to stuff it into the space where the cakes went.The birds are eating it but not as much as the cakes. I will not purchase again.

Birds love these. However, the Walmart webpage is incorrect/misleading. It's not a 2-lb log, but 1-lb. And under specifications, it lists "Count" as 8, meaning a box of 8 logs, just like can be had on Amazon for $32. However, I was just sent 1 log by the third-party seller.
