Cuisinart Coffee Center 12 Cup Coffeemaker and Single-Serve Brewer

This coffee pot is replacing our kitchen countertop coffee maker that made a full pot of coffee. It is also replacing our Kreig coffee maker that made one cup of coffee at a time. This Cuisinart coffee maker makes a pot of coffee or a Kreig type single cup of coffee. It is very easy to program and to use.

Satifies the need for full carafe or a sibgle cup of tea coffee or hot water. Filters are a next lelvel benefit. Only improvement I can see is how you pour the water in for the carafe. Lid needs to open up more as it is in the way and change sides with the filter compartment for easier pour access. Surprised Cuisinart has not recognized these improvement optionss.

What makes this Coffee Center awesome is the flexibility. If you're in a hurry, pop in a K‑Cup and you've got a perfect single cup in minutes. If you prefer your own grounds, the reusable filter lets you brew your favorite blend without any waste. It's fast, convenient, and tastes great either way.

I absolutely love my Cuisinart SS-15 coffee station. I had another model for 10 years, so I knew when I upgraded I wanted another Cuisinart. I like that I can make a pot for myself or company and also just a cup with the single serving size. The included adapter that I can fill with the grounds of my choosing (not just pre-filled pods) is just great. The sleek look and design is a plus as well.

I love this appliance. It takes up so much less room than having two different ones. The regular coffee maker side keeps the coffee must hotter than any maker I have ever owned. And the pod side is very easy to use. The complete machine has a great quality feel and I hope it lasts for years to come.

Love this so much we bought another one when the first started acting up after about 10 years (clock would reset to 12:00 whenever we used the single-serve side; annoying but still functional). Shopped around but didn't find anything we liked better and it had served us well so why mess with success?

I have had a really good experience with this coffee maker. I love that it has a timer, so when I wake up, my coffee is ready to go. The K-cup function works very well. Overall, it's a good machine, but I probably would not buy it again. Here's why – the carafe for the coffee maker has a lid that completely comes off to fill it and I prefer a hinged model. Also, when pouring the water from the carafe into the reservoir, it isn't possible to angle it enough to empty the carafe and I usually end up spilling water everywhere. The carafe also sticks a little when trying to put it on the heating element, so you have to wiggle it a little to get it just right I recommend buying it if little things like that don't bug you, because it is a great machine.

I would give this coffee maker 4.5 stars. I'm not giving 5 stars because the water compartment is tricky to fill, as it's smaller than most coffee makers and it's easier for water to get inside the filter holder. I recommend this product as the other features work very well.

Pros…We drink quite a bit of coffee and love the ease of the single cup feature for times when I don't prepare a pot the night before. Fits nicely under the cabinets and looks stylish. Nice to select the oz amount on the pod side and can clearly see the cups of water being added to the pot side. Con's….This is my fifth exact same model over the past maybe 8 years. Again…we drink a lot of coffee but replacing it is quite expensive. It isn't very easy to clean, on the pot side above the basket should be able to be removed to properly clean other than give it a damp sponge wipe. The k cup side is a bit touchy, you have to physically push the pod all the way down or you may have the all blow out the top all around the pod holder area which really cannot be cleaned correctly due to not coming apart. Looking at my review, it doesn't look too good although it is tried over and over and semi true over the years for me as I am a creature of habit and don't really like change but wish I would have received the newest model.

I bought it and writhing 2 months the k-cup part stopped working, now only the carafe. Disappointed that is now not usable as the k-cup part is what I am using the most.
