Hamilton Beach 2-Way Programmable Coffee Maker, Single Serve Coffee Maker & 12-Cup Coffee Pot, Black

I am replacing my older version of this coffee maker that I have had for at least 12 years. While it still worked, it wasn't tasting the best so I decided to replace it. I went with the same exact coffee maker because I loved that it didnt use KCup style baskets in the mug side so I can customize how much grounds I use. I also found this style basket easier to clean. I also really liked that it doesnt have a reservoir and you just put in the amount of water you need each time. This takes the guess work out of what size mug you have and also keeps the water from going stale sitting in the reservoir. This is a great machine that I hope will last me another long time.

this is hands down one of the best purchases i have made in a while. went looking for a single serve/ pot machine. came across this and the keurig version. the keurig was almost 200$while this was right around 70 for the white version which i dont mind. this thing has been getting used quite often. buy reuseable coffee filters and you good to go.

we have been using a Keurig with the carafe and the single serve, for roughly 8 years. we went through three, the first one was the best second one and the last one didn't even make it a year. I have no idea why it took us so long to get this one, it was a great price, the looks of it is very fancy, two separate water compartments, there is a switch so that you can choose which one you would like, it pours out nicely without making a mess, we love the timer part, we enjoy it, it has all sorts of features the Keurig does not.. I will be recommending this product to anybody who is interested in a good coffee pot.

This will be the third coffee maker like this I have purchased over the years. I like the fact that I can make a big pot of coffee but if I want maybe a cup of green tea I can make it using the one cup side, or hot chocolate for these KS winters. One cup of the tea or hot chocolate is just the right amount for me. But I do program the regular coffee pot for every morning, as I do drink a lot of coffee during the day so the larger pot is so much better.

I love the choice to make a cup or a pot of coffee in one product. I didn't read carefully and thought both sections came with a reusable coffee filter. I was happy to find a few paper coffee filters were provided to give me time to get more. Thus far, I am satisfied with this product and it's features.

As pictured, HOWEVER, only drawback is NO K-Cup accommodation, NOT made clear in description. K-Cup can be emptied into provided basket, with tasty cup of coffee. But no adaptation for same. Could have been more clearly stated.

I feel that it is easy to use, versatile and helps lower ones microplastics ingestion. You also have the ability to make that very strong %26 bold coffee we all need at times. It looks fine to me, but if you are trying to impress someone with your coffee maker, this probably isn't the right choice for you. The only compliant that I have is that it is not as fast as a Bunn coffee maker. To me based on the price, versatility, and general appearance - it was the right price point for me.

I've been using this product for 9 months now. I give it 3 stars for 2 big reasons: %231 Water and coffee build up under the plastic ring on the rim of the carafe and is near impossible to get out. Yuk. %232 If you overfill the water and/or the grounds in the basket on the single serve side, even if by just the tiniest amount, you are going to have a huge mess on your hands and no easy way to clean it. I've had this happen about 3 times in the 9 months I've had it and each time it's taken me tons of q-tips, quite a few paper towels, and a bare minimum 30 minutes of my time to get all the grounds out of the apparatus where the water comes out.

This is my second coffee make from Hamilton Beach, same model, different color. The unit does not heat the coffee to the correct temperature, so I have to put the coffee and cup into the microwave to heat it to the correct temp. I have used this one week, so needless to say, I'm disappointed in the unit's performance. I will be returning it for an exchange.

We’ve always had a ninja coffee maker however we started to notice that the coffee wasn’t hot. We explored options and thought we would give this coffee maker a try after reading the reviews. First- the coffee isn’t hot. What happened to coffee makers that make hot coffee? Second- it’s inconsistent in flavor. Sometimes it’s stronger/weaker than the day before. I use same water and same amount of coffee day to day. It also doesn’t beep when it’s done which is just a preference that I didn’t realize I preferred. Overall- disappointed in this purchase.
