CyberPower CPS160PPB2U - 160W Black/Red Power Inverter with 2 AC Outlets, 1 USB Port, and 4 ft Cord

It can power my laptop and charge phones at the same time. I purchased it in case of power outages, but surprisingly it works well during non emergencies also. It doens't make any noise or heat.

My girlfriend and I both work from home now. Being able to tether to a phone and use this to keep the laptop going in the car has been helpful. There are also 2 usb ports so you can charge your phone and another outlet if needed. Personally we just use the outlet and 1 phone port so we have not maxed this out during use. Cyberpower is a very good brand and I have relied on them for work and home use so I have no doubt this will work for a very long time. I like the clip on the device so you can attach it to the back of the seat in the car so it stays put. Honestly this will be great for road trips in the future and takes one more things off my list of stuff to get for those.

This product by Cyber Power is an excellent power inverter for the car for when the family's traveling together because it allows work on a laptop by the passengers who have to keep up with online schooling while traveling, and simultaneously powering up my iPad so that when not in online schooling mode, the passenger"s children can play video games or watch available videos. It keeps all the passengers engaged in utilizing electronic devices and the driver does not hear constant, "Are we there yet?" questions.

This is a MUST have for those who travel! You can hook your computer right up to this (no adapter needed to make it a USB), your iPad, phone, or DVD player (oh yes a DVD in the car!). Great for all of your passengers who get tired of looking at the highway as you travel. It's great to even use on a short trip to Walmart as you can charge your accessories on the way. You can even use this on the road to charge your battery pack for your devices so when you get to wherever you have to go, you have a full battery and a fully charged battery pack!! Great for even older cars. We have a 2009 Santa Fe and it only has 1 port and we have 4 family members. This stops the fighting on who gets to charge their device, LOL. My favorite thing...It has a hook on the back so you can loop it on the back of a seat, under the seat to hide it, or at the top of a floormat to keep it from moving around! This is FANTASTIC because if you have children or someone who isn't the best at looking where they are walking, you hang this out of the way!

Cyberpower CPS160PPB2U Power Inverter is a great device to have available in your vehicle for everyday use or emergencies. It has a 4 foot cord with DC plug (12V) that connects to your vehicle's DC power outlet. It can charge up to 4 devices at the same time with a 160 watt peak. The inverter has 2 household power outlets (120V) and 2 mobile device ready USB charge ports with 2.4 amps. The household power outlets have child safety covers that slide easily to open and close the outlets. It has a cooling fan built in so it does not over heat. If it does get to hot the inverter will automatically shut off. On the back it has a seat clip to clip on the back of your seat or the side of your door. I have used all 4 ports at the same time with no issues and all my devices charge normally. So far I haven not had any issues with it overheating. Just be sure the cooling fan does not get covered up and has adequate air flow. It does not drain your car battery while in use . This power inverter is a life saver and is great for anyone to have especially those that travel frequently.

Didn't realize this was for the car when purchased, but will be great for our kids to use on trips in the back row of our van.

This has a decently long cord--you can plug this in to the cigarette lighter and use the power in the backseat. It's strong enough to power a laptop and charge a phone at the same time. (100 watts continuous). It was enough to power my little neck warmer blanket. The clip on the back is pretty cheap plastic--I wouldn't expect it to work more than once before snapping off. It's nice that it has both a regular AC outlet AND USB ports.

Ok, so the two USB ports are great, but.. the two ac power outlets are amazing! There's an extra long cord that will reach the back of the car. A clip on the back of it to hang, but it's a circle and I like to keep it in my cup holder up front. Which fits perfectly. I didn't think I'd have a reason to use the ac outlets, but I've had this power inverter for a week and have already used the ac outlets. I have twin babies that sit rear facing in the back seat. I got the idea of taking their baby monitor and hooking it up in the car with the ac plug ins. So now I can view them on the monitor in the front seat and the cameras mounted on the back dash. It's a lot better than trying to look at them through a mirror stuck on the back window. I've even thought about using it to power a small tv/dvd combo and attaching it to the back of the seats somehow. It'll keep them occupied on our road trip we're taking next week. I'm sure I'll find a million more uses for this, and I'll definitely be buying more because they'll make nice Christmas gifts.

Having a power inverter for long trips is a must with kids, so this device does the trick! It's small so it doesn't take up to much space, and it has two outlets and two USB ports which is great. The only downside would be because of its small size if I use it with multiple devices it sounds like it's working extra hard but it is still working even if a little noisier. I would definitely recommend

Having four kids power consumption during road trips becomes a real issue. I've used many of these small inverters in the past and this one works just as well as any others, with a few benefits. First I love the design. The circular puck fits right into a large cup holder and if you have pockets on the back of your seats a small clip on the back let's it attach easily. The cord is quite long, allowing it to reach along the length of my minivan without issue. The safety locks on the outlets is a good addition and with two 110 wall outlets and two usb ports there is lots of flexibility. Really the only issue is that it can get pretty noisy once you have a couple devices pulling on it at the same time. This is a product of the very tiny fan as it has to spin up very fast to keep things cool. I get that it's this small due to size limitations of the housing, and it's nice that it is so small, however a slightly larger fan would have made a decent impact on the sound. This is only a minor issue though, this is a great inverter for the price!
