read that pumpkin seeds contain certain healthy nutrients ie protein, fiber, magnesium etc - thought i would try and expected to find them to have a disgusting taste bc you know, jack-o-lantern carving discards - however roasted and salted they are really tasty - i know, i know, salt etc but just a small amount as a quick snack - tasty
after years of eating sunflower seeds n not being able to shop like normal due to covid I decided to try these and I'm so glad I did I have been missing out I think I might actually like these more than sunflower seeds ...these pumpkin seeds don't have the little bit of after bitter most roasted sunflower seeds seem to have now..was pleasantly surprised by how good these pumpkin seeds are will definitely be buying again
These are the worst pumpkin seeds that I have ever purchased. Most of the seeds are brown and/or broken - very few green seeds. They have entirely too much salt, which makes them a poor choice for adding to cereals. I had to toss them in the trash, as they were inedible.
After I had surgery, my phosphorus levels were low. I didn't even know that was a thing. Upon investigating how to up my levels, I looked up what foods were high in phosphorus. Surprisingly, pumpkin seeds topped the list. I'm on a high protein low carb diet, and these are good for that. 1/4 cup has 180 calories, 3 carbs (but only 1 net carb because they have 2 g of fiber), and ELEVEN grams of protein. That's huge. They also have more iron and potassium than a lot of foods. They taste really good - I'm glad they're roasted and seasoned. I tried some raw and unseasoned and was not a fan. Also, that price can't be beat. I like these more than sunflower seeds. They're bigger and not as messy. I hope they never discontinue these!
David's Sea Salt Pumpkin Pepitas are my new indulgence. They are a great tasting hunger satisfying snack. They taste better that peanuts and work eaten alone, in salads or as a topping on other meats or veggies. They have a buttery roasted flavor that goes well with almost anything. Plus not bad as a low calorie snack.
I love these seeds. Years ago we used to get pumpkin seeds at Glass Block in the mall. Haven't found them in years, but these are just as good. Once I start eating I can't stop til they are gone.
If you are craving for that late snack while watching TV or reading, this may be the snack for you. I love that crunchy salty taste in these DAVID pumpkin peptic seeds! I believe I'll order them again. Thank you for reading my review.
Wonderful pumpkin seeds without all the shells. Very tasty, and the bag I received was very fresh. Not as salty as other brands. Excellent on baked breads, cereal, desserts, etc. A little high priced but worth it.
These were fine, other than being heavily salted, which I wasn't expecting. I had planned to use them in my trail mix, but can't now due to the salt flavor. Wouldn't work well in recipes. I like to use these in zucchini cake but can't do that either.
Whether the fault of Fed Ex or Walmart packing clerk, the chips and nuts arrived broken into pieces. The large dawn dish liquid in box did not help. I printed off the QR code for chips and pepitas, went to my nearest General Dollar, (30 minutes away) and was informed I had to print off my own label which I cannot do. I like to never figured out how to print the QR code. Anyways, I'm back home with my box, so just charge me for these items. This old Mamaw is worn out Now I see below you want a picture of items. I have no smart phone, no cell service here at home
