Very good flavor and not overly sugary . I like this product because you get quite a bit of fruit in the can. It's a great time saver and the cost is very reasonable. I buy a lot of this and eat it every week..

I absolutely love grapefruit and I have some type of child but don't like the mess when you have to try to section them out of the peel. They're just sweet enough but if you like them a little sweeter I put sugar on it. The wedges are decent and I mostly eat fruit as a snack.

writing review all over again - nice item to have in pantry - if you like grapefruit . Good for breakfast with milk or buttermilk , cottage cheese or as is or on the side , good as a snack , good additive to desserts . Tastes the same as Del Monte big jar slices although the canned are mostly broken slices .

I just started to like grapefruit the last few years. My local walmart doesn't sell fresh produce, so i am forced to buy canned or frozen. This is delicious!! They could fill it with more fruit n less juice, though. The price is very high, so i dont order it as much as i would at a lower price. i definitely recommended. (I would like to see sales on this item, too.)

I usually peel grapefruit and eat them like oranges but they have gone up in price. With grapefruit $1 per in the grocery stores you can't beat this. The work is done for you, the price is reasonable and eaten solo, on a salad or with cottage cheese it's simply perfect.

This is one of the few things my mom really likes to eat. She is elderly and I try to keep any food that she likes on hand. Even though it is in light syrup it is still sweet enough. The bites are of a fairly good size, the can is full of fruit, not just overloaded with juice. The fruit is firm and fresh tasting (not mushey). To me the taste was as good as a fresh grapefruit without all the trouble of digging out the fruit. I thought the price was very competitive at $1.38 per can (Mar 2017). Another good thing I noticed is the expiration date is at least a year out from the date it arrives. So my order was not seconds, or a last attempt to get rid of an overstocked item. I am well pleased with this order, actually it is my second order.

Tastes Fantastic. Even the juice is awesome. I use it as a snack. Much cleaner/easier than whole fruit (pour it in a bowl and eat with a spoon). It's very easy to eat for people with bad/no teeth. One minor point: I bought this same product in the store and the slices were mostly whole slices. In the 12 pack the grapefruit was broken up into small pieces, almost smashed. It still tasted good but there were no whole slices in any can. Probably why I ended up using a spoon. I still give it an overall 5 star rating because it tasted fresh with just the right level of sweetness. As long as the price is right I will order again.

If you love grapefruit, you'll love this. 4-stars because some cans are full of nearly whole grapefruit sections, but some cans are mostly pulp. I love grapefruit but don't want to peel my own, so this works well for me. A little sweet for my taste, but most folks will probably appreciate the sweetness.

I love the grapefruit juices. I don't like the cost . Almost $3.00 and you get little fruit in the can. I remember getting a whole bunch. Now you get more of the little pulps. I changed to the one you buy in produce. It's like $9.97 but the plastic jar is crammed full. I like Delmonte. I been eating it since I was a small child. They give less and you pay more. I'm not impressed at all. I went with another brand.
