This laptop is upgraded from my Dell Inspiron 15 that I purchased in 2016, which was expected after 9 years, but the surprise was that my purchase was actually over $200 less! This may be a trend in the industry, but no matter what the reason, I feel like my purchase is an excellent value! When I saw the "ice blue" option for color choice, I was so excited, but mistakenly expected that to be the outer case. It's actually the backlit keyboard that is ice blue, and boy is it beautiful! This purchase also served as a solution to having to move from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I could not be more pleased with the product, the shipping, and the overall service from Walmart.com!
Overall a very good laptop for the money My only complaints regarding this laptop are the minimal amount of memory and the touchpad left and right clicks. You'll want to install another 8GB of memory unless you're running some light footprint Linux distro. As a side note, it works very well with Linux Mint Cinnamon. As for the touchpad clicks, you have to press a bit forcefully to register the clicks, more than I've ever had to for any other laptop. I wouldn't consider it a dealbreaker though.
not having used a laptop before it is a learning curve. but I find all kinds of good information concerning what to do on the laptop.
i was able to transfer my old laptop all by myself and it ALL transferred over. Everything. Even my iTunes. Which is such a feat in itself!
Easy set up. Good value. I am pleased with the speed. Had some problems moving data from old computer to new computer due to volume. Had to load to cloud then download. Took several days because old computer was slow. Really miss the CD drive.
Best purchase in every way, including its sleek lines and overall good looks. Intuitive system got me up and running within a day and I couldn't be happier. If you are a Canva user, this is definitely the one to choose!
well setup was easy but after setup I had a issue when turning computer back on after charging battery overnight. It did not recognize my credentials and could not log on. Thank goodness I paid extra for setup support and they were able to reset computer and setup again. windows 11 issue but fixed.
I can say I definitely love my purchase. I've always been a fan of Dell products. the only problem I have is that it does heat up from time to time, and the battery does a bit faster than my previous laptops. but for the most part, I love it
Very good laptop with nice screen resolution and sleek design with good performance. Reason I would not recommend is that the battery life is terrible for such a new laptop even after I've turned down the energy use settings and brightness. I have an older laptop with a smaller battery that has longer life.
Upon setting up Dell Inspiron ********* the laptop immediately began to overheat. Charging cord overheated and the plug at the wall was very warm. That I was quite disappointed is an understatement. I returned laptop to Walmart day after I received it. This was not the fault of Walmart but Dell.
