Discovery #Mindblown Circuitry Electronic Experiment STEM Set, Great Gift for Kids, 8+

It is great fun for the kids to put together, and learn all about electrons, electricity, and circuitry. Then to have it put together and see how this rocket actually works.Not often can a toy be put together as a learning porject.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a "Before School" program. Early drop off for school kids means needing something fun but easy to not get too involved in. I gave a 9 year old the unopened box and told him to have fun. He had it all together in 5-10 minutes. He has put regular circuits together so he has some experience. He enjoyed it and got it back out a second day. He's already excited to open it a 3rd day to better the creation. The rocket is a lot smaller than I thought but honestly for us, it's an inside toy. It goes up about 9-12 inches. It does make a noise but for me, it's fine. It's actually perfect for our use. It does need batteries that you need to supply and no tools are needed to open the battery pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be having my 8 and 10 year old grandsons visit me this summer and I thought this would be a good activity for them. I have opened it and put it together to make sure that Grandma could be of help to them if they needed it. The print on the instruction is small as compared to the other side where the print is much larger for additional activities not related to this circuit board. The instructions looks more of the size that an adult would encounter putting together an appliance or a bench. The instructions should have been more child attractive and numbered like the additional unrelated activites on the back side of the instructions. There are good graphics and a child could put this together without the verbage. But one drawback is that the wires on the underneath side of the siren and robot are in the way of mounting them on the circuit board. The other components, on/off switch, battery case and spring connectors all mount easily onto the circuit board. In order for the robot and light to securly to the circuit board, the wires must be threaded through the hole underneath and the wires to be brought up through another hole to secure them into the spring connector. Because the other components easily fit into the holes, boys especially (at least my "I want to do this fast" grandsons) will try to cram the wires and robot and light into the hole without threading them through the hole potentially breaking the wires from the item itself. There is no mention of this in the instructions. Even the graphics look like the wires come out from underneath the robot or light itself and not threaded though the hole. There is not an indention on the bottom of the light or siren to allow the wires to be come out from the bottom of those. Other than the reasons mentioned above, I believe they will have fun with this but once they have connected the robot and then the siren, they will be all done with it. There should be other experiments included in this set for children to use with this circuit set as the activities on the opposite of the instructions are unrelated to the circiut set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Toy Circuitry Action Experiment Set. My daughter enjoyed constructing the models and became very excited to see them in action. Easy and understandable instructions and a great pastime activity. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed learning about circuits and putting everything together. My only qualm is that you do not have enough landscape to build the action items on. All in all we enjoyed it, but would want bigger breadboards to build the items on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a cute experiment but was made with cheap material and was harder for the kids to put together themselves. I had to do most of it. Still easy to do and was for a cheap price. So it's worth what you paid for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Child just loves this Toy Circuitry Action Experiment Robot spinner! He is 12 years old and can figure out this Experiment all himself. It is so nice he can read and comprehend what to do without help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely awesome. Something for myself and grandchildren to learn together. Directions are easy and pieces easy to assemble. Fun to watch the gleam in their eyes. Definitely engages the mind. Can't wait to try others.

Keeps my kids busy for 2 hours at a time and they still want to use it every day after school. Build very strong and beautiful presentation/packaging.
