Dole Pineapple best for Pineapple upside down cake
Dole Pineapple slices taste the best of any other canned slices or chunks. These make the best Pineapple upside down cake. Family has used Dole every Easter, a long tradition.

Best Commercially Canned Name Brand Pineapple Ever
I wouldn't call this a true heavy weight syrup, more like a medium. But that's not a bad thing because that means it's the fruit itself contributing much of the sweetness not just the sugar that has been added in. The fruit seems riper and it's much better cored than other brands. It's sweet enough to eat on its own without adding sugar in but not so sweet you can't bake with it , use it in say an upside down cake for example - perfect balance. I hope Dole never stops making it!

Very fast shipping. Package was wrapped in a safe secured box. I purchased from Walmart. Dole pineapple Slices in heavy syrup 20oz Can, arrived as requested. Although I ordered the slices pineapple fruit, I love them in chunks as well. You can take the can with you on picnics, or an other plus, you don't have to worry about removing any stems.

Although the pineapple packed in light syrup or pineapple juice is good, the pineapple in heavy syrup is sweeter.

Sweet pineapple is a treat
Sweetened pineapple is so good. I use for pineapple upside down cakes and for a side dish with savory seasoned chicken and savory rice. I recommend the sweetened pineapple over the no sugar added.

Had a lot of hard spots in the middle of the ring. Like it wasn't corded well. I also by this brand because of quality really disappointed the last 2 times I've bought them

3 out of the 4 cans ordered were severely dented. When I tried to make Walmart aware of the problem, the area I was supposed to commit in kept crashing. So frustrating and concerning because I felt I should not use the product

Perfect delivery poor condition of item
Glad I can add add photos of my four cans of pineapple, no packaging in the box and all four cans dented terribly! We ordered from walmart.com because they are not available in the stores, We Buy these for a special needs. Child that we have to use a food processor to make a family consistency of a toddlers meal.

ARRIVED DENTED AND DESTROYED ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGE WERE DAMAGED IN SHIPPING AND ROUTE I'M GLAD I CHECKED THIS WAS MY WEATHER STORM PACKAGE I WASN'T GONNA OPEN IT UNTIL AN EMERGENCY BUT I OPENED IT ANYWAY JUST IN CASE. ALL WERE BUSTED ALONG THE SHIPPING ROUTE EVERYTHING EAS RUINED AND NO GOOD FOR NOTHING BUT THE TRASH
