These sweet potatoes are a good buy at $33.54 for 12 they used to be $1 each but with inflation these days before tax it's $2.79 each and that's cheaper than buying them as singles at $3.27 each. If you're trying to stock up get the 12 packs. They warm up nicely, great texture not mushy at all, the big cans are nice, shelf life is decent but unlike some canned items they don't last quite as long. I recommend these for taste value good veggie to keep long term and the shipping was even so nice today no dents! Usually cans from WM are badly dented these arrived perfect today.

I purchased these for my emergency stash. One day, I wanted to make some sweet potatoes pies and decided to give these a try an I kid you not, they were some of the best pies that I have ever made and I have made a lotof pies. I think that it will be hard for me to boil potatoes again for my next pies. 🤷🏾

Bruce's Yams Cut Sweet Potatoes in Syrup are a family favorite. We have them at every holiday with mini marshmallows. brown sugar, and butter and baked to candied perfection. They are also really great just as a side dish as is, or as an added ingredient in other recopies like sweet potato pie.

I've always used home grown sweet potatoes for my holiday meals and my family loves them. I was a little worried when I couldn't get sweet potatoes and had to buy canned yams for X-mas. I had tasted canned yams before and didn't really like the texture, but because I couldn't get the sweet potatoes I had no choice but to buy the canned yams. I prepared my syrup as I normally do and poured it over the yams and put them in the oven. As they cooked the kitchen was smelling so good and when I took them from the oven, they tasted as good as they smelled. To my surprise everyone loved them and wanted to know what I had done differently. I no longer worry about getting the fresh grown sweet potatoes. The canned yams are already cooked so not only does that save me a good hour from cooking but they taste just as good. Too bad it took me over 40 years to realize it.

This purchase was made during late 2025 for our small town community Food Bank in order to ensure (hopefully) others would be able to lay a festive feast for the holidays. Reports are that this was gratefully enjoyed. Hoping I'll be able to do it again in the future.

This is the only canned yams that our family uses! Whether you cook them on top of the stove, with extras poured in %26 cooked down OR put into a baking dish, with extras %26 little marshmallows on top that get a bit browned.... - these yams cook up perfectly each %26 every time!! From my grandmother to my granddaughter - this is a family tradition!!!

Purchased bag of fresh potatoes to make sweet potato casserole. Thank goodness I got these instead. It make a fantastic casserole and everyone loved it. I don't like sweet potatoes or sweet potato casserole and I loved it. Saved me a ton of time. Was good quality.

The sweet potatoes are tender, flavorful, and work perfectly with brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, marshmallows, or whatever family recipe you're making. I especially appreciate having these in the pantry during the holidays when there's already enough cooking to do. The large can provides plenty for a family gathering, and the quality has always been consistent for me. While I enjoy using fresh sweet potatoes when I have the time, these are an excellent shortcut that still delivers great results. If candied yams are a holiday tradition in your home, I definitely recommend keeping a can or two on hand.

i always enjoy Bruce's yams, sweet potatoes. Why can't is not about the taste of these, but the size of the can they delivered to me I ordered the small can and I received a large can. I am single and cannot use larger portions.

These are sweet potatoes not yams! The local store doesn't carry fresh yams so I ordered these. Please tell me that I am not the only one who knows the difference! I hate sweet potatoes. and the fact that they put "yams" in large bold letters on the can and "sweet potatoes" in smaller print in a different location says the company definitely knows the difference.
