Domino Pure Cane Granulated Sugar, 4 lb. Bag

The only granulated sugar sold at Walmart or Aldi that is made from pure cane sugar. Both Great Value, available at Walmart, and Bakers Corner, available at Aldi, are made from GMO Beet Sugar!!!! Because they are made from GMO items they are LOADED with toxic agricultural chemicals along with being a GMO product!

I don't have to use as much of Dominos as other brands, generic or otherwise, there is a notable difference. Dominos sugar is one of the few name brands that I swear by!

I like this sugar the best but make sure if you order it on a delivery it's what they bring bc they didn't bring it on mine this last time. They just picked regular sugar and I had even picked a substitute for two smaller bags of this if this 4lb bag wasn't available. I don't believe the shoppers pay a bit of an attention and they don't care.

I've bought store brand sugar before and it doesn't match up to this brand. Also one thing I can appreciate is the sugar didn't spill out of the package during transport. With the store brand there's always sugar in the grocery bag or on my kitchen counter.

It's sugar, what can I really say? Don't give too much to your kids maybe? Dissolved great for making hummingbird nectar. Has the normal sandy texture sugar always does. Would be cool if it came with smaller packets inside for portion control maybe but other than that it's good sugar at a fair price. Side note: raw cane sugar isn't any better for you than this stuff, it's just a sales gimmick.

I will not buy NON cane sugar because it is from genetically modified sugar beets. We use very little sugar for ourselves. 99% of what we buy is for the hummingbirds. Although true can sugar costs more, our hummingbirds are well worth keeping healthy.

This cane sugar, like so many other things has increased in price, but I feel cane sugar is the better option over the many beet sugar options available. Years ago I found beet sugar actually has a not so pleasant odor (similar to sour milk) to it, while pure cane sugar does not.

Everything is great about this sugar. But this one I got today was NOT a 4 pd bag. It says 4 pd on the bag, but in reality its a 2 pd bag. I paid for a 4 pd bag, but its a 2 pd and that was disappointing. It dissolves great and you can portion it out fine. But the right amount of weight should be put on the bag. The one bag I got today WAS NOT a 4 pd, it was a 2 pd.

Normally when I get this brand of sugar there is nothing wrong and the quality is great. Unfortunately, this time, I could only use half of the sugar because some kind of fluid (smelled like vinegar) was spilled on the bag causing about 50% of the sugar to harden rendering it unusable. Stockers beware.

Packaging insufficient and product damaged. The fold on the bottom of the bag was damaged (doesn't appear related to shipping) and product leaked a lot inside the box.. I suggest in the future placing some type of padding/protection inside the box (none present). I think that if there was some padding, to keep item from shifting inside the box, it may not have leaked. Sorry I deleted photos too soon.
