Drive Medical Heavy Duty Bariatric Folding Bedside Commode Chair

When I saw this on line....I did not think it would meet my expectations. ...boy was I wrong. This is perfect for me...I am a heavy set woman and this is perfect. Very well made and easy to just unfold and set up in my room. The bucket is a good size. I use this at night so I don't walk far to my bathroom. I need a total left hip replacement and have a lot of pain when I walk. I am very glad I purchased it.

Very reasonable price...needed a temporary solution after hip surgery. This chair was almost completely assembled and excellent quality. Very strong and easy to use. The disposable liners are a terrific plus - so easy to use. Shipping was quick and well packed. I would not hesitate to recommend this chair.

This bedside commode is an excellent value - very high-quality construction and versatile design for different configurations. Very sturdy and easily accommodates large folks like me (tall and heavy man). I recently fractured my ankle and knee and used the frame (without the pale)which fits easily over any toilet bowl as a support to get up and down from my regular toilet. It has been a life-saver! I highly recommend this product.

This bedside commode is sturdy, large and very stable. We are very pleased with this product. It was $80.00 less than the same brand from a medical supply store with only a 400 lb weight capacity. A very good product for the money.

Im 270 lbs this holds me very good and gives me plenty of room to sit.

I made this purchase, as I weigh over 300 lbs., and I needed a heavy duty unit, this fills the bill.

Got this for my mom,who is 91 yrs old, weighs about 135 lbs and a bit unsteady. I bought this commode to help my mom not scurry to the bathroom at night and avoid accidents. Less cleaning up for me and at the same time preserving my wood floor. The width of this commode helps a lot with her balance...it's wide enough that it does not easily tip over. The price seems a bit high for a commode but not sure if I'm right cause I have not seen any others to compare it with. I wish these items be displayed in the stores for comparison,price wise and quality wise. This commode is so easy to assemble but a bit confusing at first, cause there is no label for the back or front parts. Need to analyze and look real closely to the very simple instruction in the brochure to avoid mistakes. It could have been perfect for its quality (plastic seat and cover) but not sure how sturdy the pail is going to be if ever the pail gets real full which I don't intend to do. The metal support connected to the frame is strong enough for the load but the lip of the pail does not seem that strong cause its a bit short to sit on the support. The mouth of the pail is not wide enough that its lip shows when the seat is in down position. This can cause smears on the side of the pail when things fall down on it. This product is supposed to ease me with my chores. Aside from what I have stated, over all, it is of good quality.

The seat isn't made for larger people. It is smaller than a standard toilet seat, but the rest of the toilet frame is massive, wasted a lot of money.

The plastic inserts used to finish the metal tubing ( front of commode )used to support the seat had sharp edges which I had to have someone file down to make smooth.

the seat is flimsy and creaks. it doesnt have support under all sides just two small areas and evetually it will break. its pinched my husbands thighs and hurt him really bad. we both weigh under 300 pounds and need a commode over the toilet. the splash gyard is too tall and sits in the toilet water with the commode legs only set on the 3rd to the bottom pin hole on each leg. my husband cannot fit his thing or his eggs in the seat so he can go to the bathroom and pee in the toilet. this commode is over priced garbage!!!!!!! i called the phone number to drive medical and as soon as i got down to explaining why this commode wasnt working out the customer service rep muted her phone and stopped talking to me. drive commodes ate garbage and so is the customer service!!!!!
