This is our 3rd Dyson. Our first upright survived 2 large inside dogs and saved the day many times. This Ball Animal 3 is amazing! I am beyond impressed with the power it has on carpet or bare floor. I really love the upgrade for the hose. You no longer have to turn the handle around to use the hose. Emptying the bin is so easy.. just lift it away and empty with the touch of a button. After watching a video on my own I learned if you have an original dyson like I do the tools can be used on this model. It has the "click" button release on the hose. The detangler head to stop hair from around the roller brush is amazing and no belt to break on the roller brush so there is another bonus. 2 completely washable and easy to reach filters are another plus to this awesome vacuum. If you are wondering we are amazed and thrilled with this purchase!! Also at this point we don't have any pets and it still pulled dirt and hair out of our carpet!
The suction is very powerful. A bit heavy if lifting it up! If I try to turn a corner, doesn't turn easily, maybe once it gets a little more broken in, I'll see. Overall I am very glad how it handles our cats hair on the floor. I use to have to pull out the hair on my older vacuum, so very pleased with the comb effect.
I had already owned a smaller version of this dyson vacuum, which I really liked. This dyson is awesome, it lives up to its name the animal. My floors have never been cleaner, but don't vacuum close to anything you don't want it eat, because it has such powerful suction.
It's been several years since I ordered through/from Walmart. The Dyson vacuum is as it should be however I would comment that from ordering n the Walmart website to receiving the product everything went smooth and as advertised. Great experience Walmart. Thank you.
This vacuum for the floor is great! Excellent power and picks up an amazing amount. However, a BIG down fall is the hose and plastic handle and nozzle. The nozzle fits down inside the hose and is an absolute pain to use. You fight to keep the hose expanded the entire time you use it. Mine sucked down out of my hand and hit me in the head leaving a nice little bruise. Once you do get the the nozzle out of the hose and get hose wrangled out from the vacuum as it just keeps trying to suck it all back together, then it just bends where the hose meets the nozzle. This is a serious design flaw and makes the hose almost un usable unless you feel like having a wrestling match. Don't even attempt to vacuum the stairs that was an absolute nightmare and by the time I got to the top of the stairs I was ready to pitch it out the window! I'm pretty sure they design it this way on purpose so you do exactly what I did and ordered a second Dyson the V15 so I can do the stairs. So if you just want this vacuum to do carpet and not use then hose and tools then it's great. If you are like me and need to use the hose a lot and vacuum stairs you might chose a shark.
This vacuum has great suction and does a great job on carpets. But watch it on rugs. make sure you turn the beater bars off, and only go in one direction or it will suck it up. I also have a hard time keeping the power head on. Everytime I vacuum i have to stop and re attach it at least twice, so frustrating. I am almost regretting buying this model. I love the power with dyson but I am hating this one.
Product made of the cheapest plastic ever-almost like a cheap toy. It's bulky and heavy. The swivel is hard to manipulate. The suction is no where near as strong as my last vacuum , that was a Shark. The hose is bulky and stiff, making it challenging to use freely.
Too heavy to operate. Felt more than twice the weight of its predecessor (10 years ago). Hard to push as well. Also the hose takes time to be deployed. I had to return it which is very rarely do with any products.
Cheapest vacuum I've ever owned. It won't stand up on its own. Keeps falling over. The suction is okay. But made of cheap plastic. I will never purchase a Dyson ever again. I owned one about 15 years ago that I was very happy with. So I decided to purchase another. And the product quality is not up to my standards. Very cheap
The product received was used. While the description was "new" I returned the product within days after receiving it. 6 weeks later I still have not received the refund. Stay far away from this product and Walmart. Terrible experience, fraudulent advertising.
