Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Vacuum | Silver/Nickel | New

Am happy with my new Dyson but its taken a while to get used to the angle I have to use it on carpet as very difficult to push or pull in upright position so have to lean and use the vacuum at lower angle even on the eco mode also disappointed that although two spaced on charging cradle for tools you cannot fit both in at same time 🤷‍♀️

This is fantastic. Just got this after having the V6 Motorhead for about 10 years (it was also great, and only replaced the battery once). We have mostly wood or tile floors, but now we have more carpet and pet hair than we've had in the past, and the V8 Absolute has been wonderful. It's similar in feel/hold to the V6 but more maneuverable and significantly more power/ suction, especially on Flor tiles or carpet. Since our last one also had the button that you have to hold to keep on, we were used to that and isn't a problem. This model is Much easier to empty, and doesn't seem to struggle with hair getting caught around the roller. Assume we'll have this one for the next 10 years, as the quality is excellent and it has a much better battery/charging life than the last one we had. Great value and would highly recommend!

Had my “new” dyson for about a month now. It is as wonderful as my “old “ one that I wore slap out after 10 years!!! Thank you for consistently making great products!!

I bought my 1st Dyson V8 animal 10 yrs ago!! Never lost suction however pieces started to break off battery pack lost charging power i replaced the battery pack and still use my first one but my new v8 absolute is the bomb light weight and powerful im a dyson user for life

I love the V8 Absolute so much I purchased a 2nd one just because it was on sale! I had the original V8 for a very long time. When it began giving us problem we “upgraded” to a new version which I think was the V9 but learned immediately that the way to discard the dirt was just too complicated having to remove the entire stick so we purchased the V8 Absolute. We still have the other but we were only using it if the other ran low on battery. Now I have three Dysons in the home. One in the the back family room, one in the mudroom which is close to the front of the house, and the other hanging in my office. We have dogs so it helps to have them stationed that way. The soft roller is amazing for hardwood floors and for thin, machine washable area rugs. All of them are great to vaccuum dog hair from furniture and floors. I even got an attachment that connects to literally vaccuum the hair right off of my dogs when the are in shedding season! What I’d like to see in the future is a way to to lock the button for continuous suction so I can freely use the accordion hose or the additional attachment for vacuuming my dogs, or using the vacuum to suck the air out of my storage bags. It would help for ease of maneuverability when those hand held tasks are needed.

This is not my first Dyson V8 Absolute bought this one because of the sale price and I love this vacuum it's light weight easy for everyday cleaning has all the attachments we need as my husband has a service dog this is a great little vacuum for people with pets, love this vacuum.

This Dyson was a really good deal. Other sites seem like a good deal; however, you need to be very careful as to what attachments come with it. This unit came with everything that we needed. This was a great deal for the price. I would highly recommend.

It is better than the small vacuum cleaner of my dreams. It makes cleaning up the few places the robot vacuum cleaner can't get to, actually fun. Like the cobwebs on the ceiling or the dead flies on the window sill. A great machine so ready and able in its wall mount charger. Brilliant.

Ever since I started using the son products I love them. Although I’m completely baffled now since I bought a slim to use for cleaning jobs and haven’t had and issues until now. I think it’s been 6 months since I bought and the battery is already dead. I wanted one I could pull the battery off and switch but it just the same as all the rest. And now I’m trying to locate the receipt to get it fixed

I'm a little Disappointed for my 1st purchase of my Dyson Vacuum. The Floor attachments specifically the Soft Roller & MotorBar Cleaner. The MotorBar sits too low on the floor to pickup dog food pebbles, it has no Hight adjustment in the front of the MotorBAr. The Soft Roller after several passes picks up the food pebbles but does not do a very good job in picking up straight dog hair on floor-it takes several passes!
