This is made with essential oils like lemongrass, peppermint, and thyme. The fact that it is natural gives me lots of peace of mind. This is made to use indoors in an enclosed area. It says it should work for 30 days and it is people and pet friendly. The big question is did it actually work? I found this to drastically eliminate any ant problems that we have had. The scent is lightly herbal and fresh, but I did not find it to be overpowering. I just put it right at the front of my cabinet and it seems to work very well. I found these easy to use just open the package in place inside your cabinet. There's no mess. There's no fuss. It's a set and forget it type of thing except to remember once a month to just replace it. It takes all of about 30 seconds to complete this entire task. Spring often brings pests out of hibernation from winter, Earthkind fresh cab plant based ant and cockroach deterrent has helped us out immensely. I will definitely re-purchase.

I refuse to use pesticides and toxic chemicals so I thought this would be perfect. I have to say that I'm really impressed. I placed one in our laundry room and one in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Our laundry room is located in the back of our house with a separate entrance. There's always ants because it's so close to the landscaping. I placed a packet on top of the dryer, where ants seem to love to crawl. The next time I went into the room, the ants were gone, and they've been gone since! Also, since placing the sachet in the cabinet under the sink in the kitchen, I have not seen any ants or cockroaches! I am really thrilled with this product! It's easy to use, smells great, and it's safe for my family! Win, win, and win!

However, this product actually smells quite good and isn't overly strong. Aside from the scent, it works great! We were having an issue with ants getting in through a crack in the doorway and have found numerous dead ants near this product since putting it out. Will definitely repurchase! The warning about potentially staining/dying certain materials is the only thing that makes me a little weary, but haven't had any issues with a paper towel underneath.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is in an easy to use pouch that I placed in a container and keep in one of my downstairs cupboards where cockroaches seem to show up. Immediately upon opening, the smell of lemongrass, peppermint and thyme was very strong but not unpleasant to our own olfactory system. Ir smelled quite nice actually and if this aroma keeps roaches and ants away, I am all for it! The smell does dissipate after 30 days, which I wish it lasted longer but it does still gives off the scent. The item seems to be pretty effective but will need to be replaced every month.
