I love that they have an indicator letting me know if it’s secure. Green = secured Red = not secured
i have tried similar handles that worked well on a tub surround... they failed on the tile walls we now have. These handles have worked very well. I tested first on a lower portion of the wall, just incase it would release and drop and startle my wife. It held 2 days and I then moved it to the desired location, putting a towel on the floor just in case. The handle has now stayed in place, under use, for 4 days. The indicators are a very nice and useful feature. if I need another handle, I will definitely buy another.
I will admit to be apprehensive about buying this suction type bar for my father. It arrived quickly and was all in all easy to attach. It does take some force to push the clamps done but this bar is amazingly strong and the clamp/suction is very strong. My father had no difficulty using this in his shower.
confidence inspiring due to small window on bar that show green or red. green for it is adhering to the wall, and red for it is not 100% adhering to the shower wall. I have installed more then one in each shower, and they have never failed me.
This product is a very sturdy and easy to install. It is especially useful to someone who has a disability It is good for everyone who needs a little extra protectio
I purchased two of these after I had knee replacement surgery. I positioned one right as I stepped into the tub and another on the wall inside the shower. The handles helped me navigate taking a shower safely by myself.
not yet installed but it is very attractive and I think will work very very well. based on the other reviews I will probably not want to put all of my weight on it but it will be good for what I need to balance
First ones I ordered didnt show up, driver returned to store. So, I ordered this one, which is working out good.
There is a fatal flaw in the design of this bath handle. Unless your bath tiles are precisely 4 inches square the suction area of the cups will fall on a grout line between the tiles and prevent the handle from achieving the required amount of suction to support the weight of a person. The tiles in my shower are 4-1/4" square so when I tried to install the handle vertically or horizontally across 4 tiles I could not position the handle without one end of the suction area falling on a grout line therefore suction on one end could not be achieved. But then I tried tilting the handle at a 45 degree angle and was able to position both ends of the handle in the center point of 2 tiles without a grout line interfering with the suction. So I finally was able to get the handle installed in my shower with an excellent amount of suction to support my weight. I think a simple modification to the design of the handle bar would be to design it with an adjustable handle so users can change the length to fit the variable tile sizes in every home shower.
Easy to install, seems very sturdy. However, it keeps popping off the wall by itself. It ought to stick to the surface, especially since the wall was cleaned and dry when first installed. Might be better for the bathtub.
