Equate Daily Facial Cleanser, 8 fl oz

This is THE BEST facial soap. I like it better than high-end products like Estee Lauder, and I like it better than Cetaphil products. This stuff, combined with a Mainstays washcloth, will get the makeup off your face (except waterproof mascara - you'll need to hit your lashes with makeup remover first.) It even removes the makeup from the washcloth after washing. I like using it with the Mainstays washcloths because they're rough enough to exfoliate. This product helped clear my acne and definitely does not cause cystic acne. I have very oily skin and I do not find it to be drying, but I can't speak for those with dry skin. I love the scent and silkiness, as well - it makes it feel like a luxurious high-end face wash.

I have been using this product for a couple of years and I love it. It's refreshing but not oily!

So this works great, feels great. Doesn't leave skin feeling dry or greasy. The fragrance however is a bit strong. I bought it thinking it was comparable to cetephail but the smell is veryyy strong. Luckily it's still usable but I'm not sure id buy again unless absolutely necessary.

I have always prefered this to the Cetaphil and it is cheaper too. The latest bottle I bought smells different and the face wash is thinner. The only difference I can see is that it is Made in India and previously it was Made in Mexico but it is not the same product. I am disappointed.

The one that I typically use was out of stock, so I went with this one. And the smell of this one... I don't like it at all. It stinks. Definitely not something I want to use on my face. I wouldn't recommend this specific one, but there's another Equate daily face wash that compares to the Cetaphil brand, and I would recommend that one. But I absolutely don't recommend this one. Not at all.

So I got this before and it worked well for my son and I but I ordered it again and it's different. I noticed that it smelt weird like it's very strong smell. My son also noticed it and he told he doesn't want to use it anymore and when I looked at the bottles, you can tell they look different but they're supposed to be the same product the ingredients seem to be a little bit different. They're each made in different countries. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but you would think that the product would be the same. I don't know. It's off.

How disappointing. I've been using this for a long time now, long enough to know when something changed. Why?!??? The smell is horrible now, smells like hotel soap or something. I loved the soft powdery smell. Everything is different. I'm gonna have to buy the cetaphil brand now.

Super disappointing they changed the formula, the smell is so overwhelming strong. Pretty sure this is just generic hotel shampoo now, scent and feel is exactly the same…

I have used this facial cleanser for years and loved it. You have changed the formula... it's watery, doesn't lather well, and smells like melting plastic. if something isn't broke, why try to fix it, you have failed miserably!
