Equate Daily Fiber, 100% Psyllium Husk Dietary Supplement Unflavored Capsules, 160 Count

These fiber capsules are a daily murmur for me for decades now. It's near impossible to get the recommended amount of fiber into my diet and harder now as I am older. Capsules are easier for me to take given I try to get 10 in throughout my day. These are a great value and I always seek these out given their quality %26 value.

I have tried various fiber products before, and Every one of them gave gas, intestinal track Pains, and/or diarrhea. This product did not! I Took less than the recomended product, however. Taking one or two capsules yielded The desired effect without discomfort.

I've never felt the need to add psyllium to my daily vitamin and supplement intake until it was suggested at my last wellness check that it might be a good idea for me to start. So I ordered the Equate Daily Fiber Capsules, already trusting Equate products which are high quality at a lower cost and I figured it was the right choice. Although the bottle says take 5 capsules a day I started off slowly with just one and will work my way up to 5 if needed. So far so good! I figured my body will tell me what amount is working best!

I have been using Equate Fiber Capsules for at least 15 years. They are a great product to help keep my gut regulated. Take it according to the instructions on the bottle.

Cuz what did I do? Wipe... but only one time! Cuz that's all I needed, boo! I just take 4 Equate daily fiber 100% psyllium husk dietary supplement tablets a day. It literally changed my life, likeee,,, 👏👏👏

The pills do work. But the dosage is unclear! The directions are located in 2 different places on the bottle. In 1 place it says dosage is 5 pills. But says new users take 1 dose daily slowly increase to desired dosage. To me desired is when it works for me. In direction place 2 it says to take a dosage 4 times a day.5 per dose 4 times a day a bottle of 160 is only 8 day supply! The label needs to be rewritten to be clearly understood.

These Equate 100% Psyllium Husk dietary supplements are designed to help maintain healthy blood sugar, lower cholesterol, promote digestive health and help to relieve constipation and maintain regularily. I haven't used this product for long enough to evaluate how it will help me yet but am hoping it does. I am concerned with the number of capusules that are recommended as it recommends 5 capsules 4 times a day so 20 seems to be a bit much. The number of capsules in the picture shows the daily dosage. You should also check with your doctor to be sure this product doesn't interfere with any medications you are currently taking. It should not be given to those under 12 years of age. This bottle of 300 capsules should last approximately 15 days taking 20 per day. The capsules are unflavored and need to be taken with plenty of water and not within two hours of any other meds you may be taking.

Couldn't tell that these did anything. I felt like I wasted my money on them. If you read labels, there's not much fiber in each capsule. If you need 30gms per day, don't expect much help from these. I won't purchase again

You were out of stock for so long I went to a different retailer for a similar item. I see you have it back in stock and I put it in my cart but I have an ample supply for a while.

I am not sure who would use this as directed. As you can see in my picture, the recommended dose is 5 pills 4 times a day. That is 20 capsules a day. There are 160 in this bottle. So if used as directed, the bottle would last 8 days. And someone would have to be desperate to be willing to take 20 of these rather large capsules a day. And then buy a new bottle every 8 days. I gave the rating a 1 for that reason. I am not going to try the pills because of that reason. And I don't believe that the vast majority of people would take that many a day unless they were going to die if they didn't take it.
