This is ideal for the wallet as part of my subscriptions, but at the same little better for me to replace cholesterol medicine. It is a lot of vitamins, though I can't afford to subscribe too often, but only at certain times of the month-it's too costly.

The Omega-3 (from Fish Oil) Maximum Care by Spring Valley has 2000 mg of Omega-3 per serving and also has 1000 IU of Vitamin D3. There are 120 softgels and two per day is recommended. The softgels are rather on the large size but with water they will slide right down. They appear to be of good quality. They contain highly purified fish oil and have minimal ingredients. They have a “natural lemon flavor” to control fishy aftertaste, but I haven't encountered that flavor. I usually take these with food and then I don't have a problem with any aftertaste. I've been told to take fish oil and this seems like a good product and less expensive than the big name brands.

I have a lot of experience with omega 3 supplements, and I also get vitamin D separately. So I was very excited to have the opportunity to try a supplement that included both: vitamin D and omega 3. It makes it easier to remember to take my supplements if I remember to tale one instead of two; so that is definitely a plus. As expected of any supplement that contains fish oil in it, the pills are quite big but surprisingly easy to swallow. The bottle comes in completely sealed, and the pills do not stick to each other as other fish oil supplements do. I recommend these supplements.

You need to take A LOT more than 2 a day to see the real health benefits reflected in legitimate studies of omega 3. Just fyi. But otherwise, good price.

The only negative is the size of the capsules. They are very large. Considering the cost of the prescription medicine this is equal to, Omega-3 plus D3 is an extremely good buy.

Decent fish oil caps, but they are HUGE! Larger than other types I have taken. I would not recommend for someone that has a hard time swallowing pills.

While these capsules seemed to be good quality and value, I was unable to use them beyond one dose because they gave me fishy burps and tasted gross. Don't buy these if you don't like the taste of burping up old smelly fish.

Something has changed in these “soft gels”. I have been taking this brand and strength for several years but the ones I got today are hard as rocks! I had bought a bottle of Costco brand because I could not find these but they were hard and I was having trouble getting them down. These Spring Valley ones came back in stock so even tho I still had most of the other bottle left, I ordered them. They are just as hard as the Costco ones and so I am very unhappy.

Label is deceiving it says 2000 mg, i thought that mean each capsule is 2000 mg, but instead they are only 1000 mg capsules and the directions say to take two. For a couple months now I wasn't taking the correct dosage. Why buy 2000mg and take 2 pills there is no difference I can buy 1000 mg and take two pills for a total of 2000 mg. DECEIVING...
