I HAD ANKLE SURGERY AND HAD TO BE OFF MY FOOT. I didnt want to buy crutches %26 I didnt want to buy a walker. The walker comes somewhat preassembled. Everything that does need to be assembled was easily done while sitting on the sofa. Use on Plain surfaces only. It does become unsteady when riding “over stuff” so avoid doing so. If you run over a branch, you might topple over. This scooter does fold and can fit in your trunk. As I get cleared to walk, I can easily push the scooter , dont waste your money on a walker.
Simple, no frills, works well, easy to maneuver, and is not too wide and can fit in tiny spaces. Very easy to put together. The breaks in the back were tight, but I just loosened them up and it's fine. The knee pad is not bad, but can be more comfortable. I got an inexpensive memory foam cushion for knee strollers and it's perfect. I almost spent three times this one and I am so glad I didn't.
I was hesitant to get this because I just don't wanna look weak. I have metal rods in my ankle from a car accident in my 20s. At 52 it's getting harder and harder to attend multiple day festivals. After two days at Rockville, I knew I wasn't gonna make it. This was pretty neat because I could kneel on it but when we were in a hurry and my friends would grab each side of the handlebars and I just sat down on it like a tricycle so they could pull me through the crowd. Made it easier to sneak alcohol in too.🤣🤣 I have no idea why our faces look so goofy or what we were looking at, but it's only picture I have of me on the scooter 😂😂
It was easy to put together. The brakes weren't great though. I took it to a bike shop first thing to try to get them to work better. Some better, still not great. Couple days later I had to go to court with one of my kids. No freaking handicap spots close by. So I had to park at the top of a steep hill and find my way down on the scooter in the street, because there were steps on the sidewalk. Very scary. But I am too clumsy on crutches. So here we are. Two more weeks and I will be 100% weight bearing. Thank God. I did buy the extra pad for this because it needed a bit extra.
Instructions were not great. I also believe someone messed up something when partially assembling it,but I was in pain and couldn't walk, so I took pliers and bent some metal flaps so I could finally make it work. Also,it is very hard to maneuver or to turn around. I had to physically turn it in the direction I wanted to go. It works great if you're just going in one direction!
This is way overpriced for the poor quality. If you have time to wait for delivery, get a different brand. This was a mistake. There are better quality for the same price or lower. The knee pad is painful. The brakes feel undependable. With everything fastened and tightened, it still felt wobbly and unsafe. Do not buy this if you can help it.
DO NOT buy this. You will waste your money. It is only good for flat areas around your house where you won't go fast. Brakes don't work out of the box. We jerry rigged it, but even then the brakes barely work, and not enough at a higher speed. Not recommended for hills outside. Oh, and even though it's broken out of the box, you CAN'T RETURN IT. Ended up having to just buy another one
I received a USED open box that did not even include the basket as shown! Really needed that. Also, the frame is either bent or manufactured badly because the lock in the front does not go into where it needs to. The rear brakes are tightened so it's dragging on the rear tires. Basically, I wasted money to rush a piece of garbage to my door. If you're going to resell something someone returned as “new” at least use your head and make sure EVERYTHING WORKS AND IS IN THE BOX before reselling it. I was desperate. Never again. Garbage. Extremely upset. Going to go find a medical device store instead. I'd have a better chance at getting a working product.
This scooter was pricey for quality displayed. Assembly was pretty easy. Was shipped timely the wheel are small and hard. Any little think would wobble the handle bars and possibly tip you!!! We have whole tile flooring. The grout made it feel like I was on a woody rollercoaster! I fell several times. Not sturdy. I got a scooter with 12” tires all four with air. HUGE DIFFERENCE and it was $30 less! This one is poorly made and not secure. Paint was falling off I rode it 2days.
The back wheels don't move as the brake piece sits and rubs the tires. The tires are even creased from where the piece sits. That makes the product unstable to move around. Would not recommend. Everyone in the house has tried and none of us can get the product to work properly. Tried all flooring surfaces.
