I do alot of bread baking and this is perfect for consistent size of each bread slice. I wait until the loaf is completely cool and slice the whole loaf at once. The bottom tray catches all of the crumbs when slicing the bread...no more loose bread crumbs! Takes of no room when storing it.

I have yet to use this item but I feel like it's going to work just fine for me all I know is I first got it and I checked it out and I was like it seems pretty high quality and pretty hefty I bought one other item I finally got the refund for it but the stupid thing that doesn't even feel worth the $10 I paid for it I paid a lot more for this one but I feel like it was worth it as durable as it seems. I might update this rating once I try it today because I placed an order and as long as I get the bread I ordered I'm going to have to use this to cut it I don't cut bread so well if I just do it without any kind of a guide.

This is perfect. It takes some getting used to, but it is so worth it! I amoe my own bread but Walmart also sells whole loaves uncut for $1. We use that to make texas toast a thicker slice for french toast. The Bread Slicer is easy to clean and store. I am very happy with my purchase.

Got this for when making bread with my bread maker, it helps me cut straight pieces of bread with precision, no more thin then thick slices, works great

I didn't think i needed one of these til I had one, WOW does this make my life SO MUCH EASIER! I am now cutting through homemade sourdough with half the effort! Totally worth it!

It does an OK job getting consistent slices. It is a bit flimsy but it does the job well enough. Note that this is just a guide for cutting. No blades are built in. Bring your own blade.

EssPur New Upgrade Bread Slicer The idea of how it should help is good and that is all I liked about it. The build and materials are very lacking. The plastic is so soft the bread knife cuts it every stroke and the dividers flex making some cuts uneven. I do not recommend this unless you need more micro-plastics in your diet. If you do not like an honest opinion do not ask me. AEM

It's very flimsy; simply not rigid enough to do even slices. And the height of the sides tapers down toward the ends, which makes those sections lower than the height of my breadmaker-sized bread. I can make better slices without it. Fortunately, it was a cheap experiment.

I returned this. the sides are flimsy, and even with rubber buttons on the bottom it slid on the counter when trying to use. I think the sides would have broken soon. I do not recommend.
