Expert Gardener 48 Gallon Rain Barrel Plastic Black

The barrel met my expectations and needs. Very sturdy and see it lasting for a long time. The design of this barrel is exactly what I was looking for. It makes gardening easier and more enjoyable. The lid is removable and has a debris filter. The mid-level and lower spouts are ideal for being able to collect water even if the barrel isn't full.

This is a very nice rain barrel. I got it for my greenhouse that will drain directly to it via the side gutters. It has two drain knobs that seal tightly. I would recon this to anyone wanting to provide water to their plants without the additives in tap water. Love it! Has a screen protected top panel that jerks out debris and bugs!

No longer having problems with watering. I had an area where I have strawberries planted in a terraced strawberry planter that I built. I couldn't get the hose to that area so I put a rain barrel up. Also, I could not put my Gutters into this rain barrel so I filled it about halfway so that it wouldn't blow away and I put it on concrete blocks and leveled it. We got enough rain to fill the barrel completely. I would definitely suggest getting a larvae inhibitor. I put a quarter tablet in and also a tablet for keeping the water from getting murky. You ought to see my strawberries. They look so fantastic. It is so nice to have water in this distant part of my driveway. Great solution! I especially liked that both of the spigots were pre-installed and they don't leak and it was super easy. There's no way I would've been able to get inside the barrel to do the installation of the spigots on my own.

Since i don't have gutters , but i have a area on my back patio where the water runs off, and this was a good solution to capture it, the first rain my barrel was half full. No more flooding on my deck and i can water my plants. No standing water and no more mosquitoes!

i love this barrel and picked it up at the pick up spot in Fowlerville, after I got home, I realized that part of it was missing and called the stores pick-up person, and she had me come right back and exchanged it for one that was all there . great customer service !

Very well made rain barrel. This barrel does not come with a drain pipe conversion kit so you'll need to buy that separately. It's nice that is has 2 hose connectors. A lot I looked at only have one. Both have a shut off toggle. We finally got it all set up yesterday just in time for the 4 days of rain we are expecting in PA.

These are the best, been wanting to get a couple for so long because we get a lot of snow melt and rain so I am looking forward to using the water for my plants plus we had a couple areas from our roof that gathered a lot of water and 5 gallon buckets filled way to fast, lol. I especially like these ones have a filter/grate at the top and 2 spouts to add hoses or a higher one to fill my flower watering can.

This works great. I keep a hose open hooked up draining away from house. Already assembled when I got it. Could probably make your own for a cheaper price but still a pretty good value.

The rain barrels came as expected and in good packaging. Very easy to install with just a few tools to shorten current gutter. One thing I noticed that I feel like might be a problem in the future is the durability of the area where the spigot is connected to the plastic barrel. The plastic seems too thin at the connection site and when turning the spigot off and on the plastic seems to give too much. Will need to be extra careful when turning it off and on.

We bought this rain barrel and it is very lightweight plastic. Decided to give it a chance and wish I hadn't wasted my time and money. After a heavy rain and the barrel was full it collapsed on the front side where the indentation is for the spigot and we lost all the rain we had collected. POOR QUALITY AND WASTE OF MONEY!
