The hickory logs are very useful. They light easily and smell great plus the food is delicious! I got them in time to use in the smoker for Thanksgiving turkey. They did the job perfectly. They are good quality wood, just the right size for easy handling.

I have really enjoyed smoking meat with these logs. As you can see, they stay in the box next to my other necessities. And these mini logs are now considered that, a necessity. I have previously smoked my meat with the larger logs that you can get at other big box stores. I tried the chunks, but just was not completely satisfied as it left me wanting more smoke in the flavor. These get the job done. They are long lasting and burn hot. My experience with the larger logs would make my smoker too hot as it is a pretty small one. The chunks were had to get an accurate cook since I could not determine how many chunks to throw in at a time, plus they would burn too quickly. Thus, here come the mini logs. The perfect go-between that has provided me with a perfect cook. I have really enjoyed these, and have even used them in my fireplace in my house. They are a good started as they catch quick, and last longer than a traditional fire starter. Great product and will definitely be buying more in the future. The price point, I believe, is a tad high. However, for the convenience and consistency factor, I will pay that. Too much higher though and I will have to make my own mini logs with the power tools.

These are pretty big chunks , logs . Best used in large smokers or you may want to split them into smaller pieces. They infuse a great hickory smoke flavor. Real kiln dried hickory with a slow even burn. I use along with charcoal. If you dont over-stoke the smoker , grill or fire the box should last a good while

It is great product. It arrived on time to make our yummy pizza. Great pieces of wood for our Ooni pizza oven. Perfect size! easily lightened and last good amount of time. It needed a starter, which I used a piece of charcoal as a starter. Can't fined yummiest than our home made pizza. I will buy again and again and will recommend to family and friends.

I got these logs for my outdoor fire pit for some winter bonfires. I needed something with a slower burn to last a couple hours at least. Most firewood logs you find at stores have been sitting outside for a while and may not be dry enough for a good burn. I was hoping that getting it from a reputable brand would give me better results. These logs will get you close to a 2 hour burn time. They take a while to get started, but when they do, they will burn steady. The size and shape of the logs is perfect for our mini firepit. We didn’t have to split the logs any further and fit about 3 in the pit. We needed to use a starter for it, and they took a little bit longer to light. We stopped the bonfire after a couple hours, but I’m sure these logs could have gone on for another hour or so. One thing to note is that these were a little difficult to put out. I dumped a bucket of water but came back an hour later to find the logs still burning. There’s no chemical smell with burning these logs as they are naturally-heat treated. Overall, I’m very satisfied with them and will be using them for my next bonfire.

The Expert Grill Hickory Wood Mini Smoking Logs were tested and approved by our family when we smoked a rack of ribs and a turkey with them at Thanksgiving. They last until the end of the smoking cycle and I love the smoky goodness that is in the meat afterwards. I highly recommend them.

The box weighs about 40 lbs. I did not read the description fully as I thought these mini logs would fit in my table top smoker - they did not. Instead, I used them in my open fire pit with grill, they lit easily, burned nice and made good smoke.

These mini hickory wood logs work very well on smoker. Use them in place of the wood chips normally use. Last a long time so do not have to add more during smoking process. Nice hickory smell with being overpowering. And it is a very large box of the mini logs. Will last a long time.

I have used the mini logs to smoke a ham that turned out really delicious. I also used a hand saw to cut approximately 3/4 to 1 inch pieces that I soaked in water then placed onto hot coals on my bbq grill. Lastly, I added a mini log to the wood used in my fire pit. We love to roast weiners for hot dogs.
