I used it to wrap a brisket in, for the second half of the cooking time, while it was being smoked. The brisket turned out perfect, juicy and tender. It was delicious. The butcher paper did its job perfectly.

love it..used it to wrap turkey and then in foil..cooked chicken wings on top..not as good as foul but pan wasn't crusted by chicken pieces.

I never used a crutch before but I was planning on smoking a whole prime brisket. I new it would take a long smoke and the crutch was often used by professionals and many of them used pink butcher paper. This worked well and is wider than most. Looked like a great value compared to some others. If I were a professional I likely would buy a bigger role from a Restaurant suppy for less per Sq Ft but this was the next best thing without buying a 100 year supply.

The only thing I found faulty was opening the box. Someone was a little glue happy, so it may have been just my box. The paper is very, good not as thick as some, which makes the roll and fold easier! But it has finished out 2 roasts and 3 racks very nicely.

This paper is good and sturdy, but it has a terrible odor to it. I thought the game I was wrapping has something wrong with it, then quickly realized it was the paper. It smells like a skunk or burning rubber or something. I have not yet removed the few items I wrapped it in to see if the smell transferred to the meat, but I stopped using it after that.
