Love this pot! It's a nice size for boiling up pasta and you don't have to worry about it boiling over. I am using it on a glass top stove and it stays nice and flat. So far I've only used it for pasta, but next week I'm going to make Chicken Gnocchi soup in it. You can't go wrong with this pot and it's made well.

Farberware products have long been known as a good brand. This part is no exception. Over the years I've had several different pots and pans by Farberware to include the pressure cooker and Air fryer. Love each one of them. Will definitely buy Farberware again.

EXCELLENT stockpot!!!! Have had one for many years and wanted another one. Found at Walmart.com and was priced fairly!!! Free ship to home makes it all better!!! Most stockpots of this size are very thin and flimsy and easily burns contents and very hard to clean!!!! NOT this one......this one is as close to perfect as we can find. We do alot of cooking for large groups of folks. NOTE: Description said came with stainless lid........it did not, came with glass!!!! Makes no matter to us, but to some it may.......fyi.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, so I can't review that particular purchase. I can tell you that I I have a complete set of Farberware pots and pans, including 8, 12 and 16 quart pots. I have had these for over 50 years. I have been very happy with them. This is the reason I chose Farberware to purchase the requested stockpot and double boiler. The 3 quart pan was a pleasant bonus. He was very happy with my choice, but I don't think he's had time to actually use any of them yet.

I like everything about this pot so far. I used it the same day it was delivered. It looks good and it works good. I'm a fan of Farberware. I have been for years. Quality product. Great value. This same pot was available elsewhere online, but Walmart had the VERY best price!

I bought this stockpot for myself last year. I have gotten so much use of it so I decided my daughter should have one. We both love this pot and since it has the Faberware name, we will both benefit from years of use.

Very nice, sturdy stock pot. I ordered this to can 1/2 gal. apple cider, thinking it was tall enough; however, the measurements included the lid and top, so I felt that was misleading because it did not specify the lid/top handle was included in the measurements. The actual pot is 9.5" deep. Otherwise, a nice stock pot and if I didn't already have one about this size, I would have kept it.

I bought this as a replacement pot for a pot that was bought prior to 1976. The pot that I had was also Farberware, but was heavier and had a more durable feeling than this one. The original pot also had a stainless steel lid that has been replaced with a glass lid. This pot does not feel like it will be here even five years from now. I bought this pot for soup/stews so that I will have leftovers that can be eaten another day. This pot is also taller but not as wide as the one it is replacing. This makes storage in ordinary cabinets difficult or impossible. It will do the job but it is not a pot that I expect to really like using. It is likely a C or C-. Average but could be better. Problems I am expecting would have been avoided by keeping the original design.

"Classic Stainless Steel Stockpot with Lid" makes it sound like the lid is also stainless. This one has a glass top. I expect it's tempered glass. Tempered glass is much stronger than non-tempered but, it can explode if tapped too hard against another solid surface (like the sink divider). Please give more info when describing items.
