Farberware Glass Replacement 12 Inch Lid for Frying Pans, Dishwasher Safe, Glass

I bought the 12 inch glass lid for my frying pan and I've been very very happy with the product. With the glass lid, I can see exactly how done things are! A great price, it's like a miracle! Quality, construction and materials.

I was having a hard time finding a replacement lid for my 12 pan and found this web site. Their customer rep was very friendly and helpful on the phone. The lid came packaged very well and I am really happy with it. My experience with this company is positive.

This lid fits perfectly on my 12-inch Farberware skillet. It has a bit of a lip, so that it seats itself nicely within the skillet's rim. The handle is a black material that has not yet gotten so hot that I could not pick it up with bare hands. I have never in my six decades had a 12-inch skillet that had a lid that fits as well as this one does...and to be able to also see through the glass makes this a real treasure-find for me.

Honestly, I don't cook much, but I bought my first set of Farberware cookware in 1984, I still have it, and it almost looks new. I'm really putting together another set of cookware for my kids to inherit. The quality is so high, it will outlive me.

Okay, my original pan lid rolled off of the counter and imploded upon impact. Although this replacement lid is not the same brand name, is not a perfect fit and doesn't appear to be as thick\heavy as my original, it is holding its own and performing its job well. It holds up to the Dishwasher, protects from content splatter and helps to retain most of the heat & moisture. Again its not the original make/model so it doesn't fit snugly/tightly on to my pan. But I do have something that is usable and NOT an unsightly knock-off. I am happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

I ordered a new lid for our 6.5 qt pot, because the knob rusted out and the glass lid needed a new knob. When I called in, I was told I could not buy a new knob, but would need the whole replacement lid. I then ordered the lid. When it arrived, the lid was 12" wide, and 2" too big to fit the pot. So I took off the knob, and put it on the old lid.

Has not been delivered/late to date. No explanation
