First Alert SC7010B Hardwired Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector with Battery Backup

Ordered the smoke detector one day and it was delivered the next day, very impressive. Exactly the model I needed, and it fit right into my system. The only thing I had to do was change the base plate, plugged it in, and works like a champ.

Our house is over 40 years old and the hard-wired smoke detector we replaced was original to the house. Installing this new unit was super easy.

Received quickly, Installed all 6 in about 30 minutes including getting the ladder out and putting the ladder away. Even had to swap out the original base on 5. Original plugs all fit, If these things last, a great buy. Install literally could not have been easier.

The BRK 6Um Nphotoelectric smoke detector / CO detector is exactly what J wanted and ordered. It installed easily to replace old expired FireX ionization smoke detector. Only time will if it will work as expected (although I won't be able to complain if it doesn't). I received the shipment in a timely fashion without any damage.
