Best pair of diggers I've found.
I really like these post hole diggers.. I've used clam shell diggers for about 5 years, and this is the best pair I've found so far.. the only place these can have an issue at is the pivot point, but it's been great so far… these feel like they will last a few years, even when used regularly.

I started out using a gasoline powered Auger and I kept getting stuck solid in the hard sandstone soil... (remember... Augers don't come with a reverse spin) .... I switched over to the Friskars %26 life got easier.... It cut thorough the hard sand stone soil like it should! 5 stars

Best tool of its kind!
This harder-to-find tool makes all others look primitive. Made of metal, this durable, well-designed post-hole digger makes it easier to dig deeper holes with a lot less work. The handle placement is great because you're less likely to smash your hands when closing the 'digger' to bring the dirt up from the bottom of the hole.

Finally someone came up with a great new design .
Great post hole digger. I did a side-by-side comparison with another new post hole digger This one was much easier to use. it's easier on your hands when driving it into ground and also while trying to pull dirt out of a deep hole. One trick I found when trying to pull out sandy soil deep in the bottom of a hole. was to add water to saturate it and then use the post hole digger to pull it out. It will keep the sand from falling out of the bottom..

The Fiskars post hole digger makes the job so much easier. Not clunky, doesn't smash fingers. Well worth the cost.

Fiskars Posthole Digger
Well made item that really protects your hands when using. You don't bang your knuckles together while digging the hole like you would using conventional posthole diggers. Not only a great product but also a great price. It was a few dollars lower than the ones at one of the national brand hardware stores. Another plus was that the item was shipped and arrived quickly.
