I love this set! Nice not having to mess with loading other plates manually. It's so easy to use. Just turn the handle with only 'one' hand to select the weight you prefer. I can now get rid of my other dumbbells. 52.5lbs may not be much for heavy lifters, but I'm 70 yrs old so this is just right for me!
Way cheaper than Bowlex. I use these dumbbells 6 times a week. So far, they’ve been very sturdy and functional. The only minor drawback to adjustable dumbbells is they’re a little bulky. Saves me so much time, in general. At a gym, the dumbbell stations always the busiest.
This is a good product. You can select multiple weights with just a click. Very convenient. Each box contains one dumbbell so if you want to order two, you need to order two items.
They are perfect for my workouts. A little too large, but that is ok. i can always modify my workouts to fit the size of the dumbbells. It helps me stay consistent and motivated. I look forward to using them each day and it helps me avoid the gym with my busy schedule.
The dumbbell sets are easily changed during work outs and completely meet my expectations. When returning the dumbbells to the storage rack it might require some slight movement to engage the weight change mechanism. The grip seems to be fine and reliable. The purchase was a good value and is suitable for my training program.
These are surprisingly good for their cost. They do tend to suffer from the same thing most adjustable dumbbells do in that it's bulky... so doing things like half skull crushers or triceps presses can be a touch awkward. That said, for a set of home use dumbbells, these are pretty, pretty good.
Great adjustable dumbbells. These are a temporary replacement for my recalled Bowflex SelectTech 552 dumbbells. Great value for the money! Work very similar to the Bowflex dumbbells. Rotating the handle is how you adjust the weight. Hopefully the plates don’t fall off the handles like the recalled Bowflex Dumbbells. We shall see! The only negative is, you have to be careful and slow when removing the dumbbells from the base, after you adjust the weights . Otherwise, some of the un-selected weight plates may come out, along with the weight plates that were selected by the handles. But, if the un-selected plates do come out, you just have to put them back on their correct track. Not that big of a deal, but it does happened. I have only done two workouts thus far, so perhaps have the handles are removed several times over use, the other plates will stay in their tracks. Bottom line, great value for adjustable dumbbells. I even got them on sale, so that makes them even better value. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Nice, space saving option for home gym, one of sweet works smooth while the other has one weight that gets hung up while removing and replacing on base. Looks like the one weight doesn’t fit quite as tightly as the others. Nothing I’d return them over but a minor inconvenience.
It works well, but there have been a few occasions where a plate falls out while I’m lifting. This last time it cracked the plate when it hit the floor. Never slam them, never hit them together. I’ve been gentle to these dumbbells since I purchased them a year ago. I’m lucky they haven’t landed on a foot in the middle of a set yet. Kind of a safety issue honestly. They’re also pretty bulky and are much taller than a standard dumbbell or even comparable adjustable dumbbells. But—it’s hard to beat that price.
Do not buy. We got 2 of these for light home, indoor use. The selector “gear” broke in one of them within the first month. We returned it and got a replacement. Now, after less than 5 months, either of them will release from the base and the handle to select will not turn.
