This was my first time trying red rice, and I had to look up how to prepare it. Method I used said to saute in olive oil prior to cooking. I cooked it in broth, and had to add water. It took a lot of liquid and didnt soften as expected, but this rice was definitely worth it. I like that the rice is firm and not mushy. I preferred the leftover rice to freshly cooked. The flavor really came through the next day.. I added mashed sweet potatoes and made a protein bowl. It definitely is an acquired taste. The aroma and taste by itself reminds me of wheat. This is a rice choice for health conscious whole grain lovers. My household was somewhat divided with 3 approving and one finicky eater preferring her white sticky rice. I do not have any complaints about this product whatsoever.

I cannot find red rice in my local store. Tried WalMart and there it was. I was looking for a different place of origin. This product country was fine and will buy it again.

I'm diabetic, nice to be able to eat a rice type grain. Easy to cook , especially in a instant pot. Very happy with it , the red rice. Boil first the fry , either for mexican rice, or Chinese refried rice. Both where excellent.

We loved the texture of this red rice. We cooked it by itself and it was amazing then I mixed it with white rice and it was so pretty and very tasty. The health benefits is a big plus.

It's starchier than expected, so but I think I'll get used to it if I rinse it more. Otherwise the taste and aroma are pleasant.

Rice comes with no cooking instructions %26 I was unfamiliar with red rice. I had to consult ChatGPT for cooking instructions %26 still that was wrong. I'm a former chef so I know how to cook. This rich has a good aroma but the texture is terrible %26 the cook time was unreal. Rice is my favorite food but not this one. Big disappointment. I don't recommend unless you already know exactly how to prepare this rice. I don't use a rice cooker ever.
