This is my second George Foreman indoor grill and I like it very much. So easy to clean. with just warm soapy water. The only improvement could be a better manual since this one did not list many foods and the F temps were wrong. I found 375 did best for well done for steaks @ about 10 minutes. It is easy to operate also. Janet.
I had one exactly like this one a few years ago & wanted another one, this wasn't available in stores but I could order online & it was delivered right to my door! I love it & would highly recommend it to everybody. What I really like is the temp dial & the timer, also the plates are so easy to wash, clean up done in a minute!!!!
We have been using this grill for 8 years. We even eliminated the outdoor BBQ because of how we can cook any kind of meat to perfection. We use it to make other things too like grilled panini and quesadillas. If I were to suggest anything, I would say allow it to get hotter so it can charbroil steaks, include flat grills for grilling vegetables. A device to keep it propped partially open so it doesn't squish some foods. A cost effective way to replace the grill plates. We replaced the unit once after 7 years because it was cheaper than buying new plates. It is super easy to clean with the detachable plates and grease drip tray. If the cooking times for different meats was on the front so we don't have to always look up the temperatures and cooking times.
This is my third George Foreman grill in the last several years. Great product and - it is not that it doesn't last...I just use it ....A LOT! I replace once the coating on the grill surface begins to break down.
I am very pleased with this grill. It arrived in a timely manner. I love how it has the ability to set the temperature. It is easy to remove the grills for washing in the dishwasher.
I have always turned to Walmart when purchasing items for the kitchen this was the first time I ordered online I have to say I was very pleased when it arrived before expected This is just replacing an old exact same thing I haven't as of yet even set it up.
We love this grill. Easy to clean in dishwasher plates, large surface area, and we use it sometimes several nights a week. Bought in 2004 when this model first came out. one side stopped working a couple of weeks ago. ;We tried the model they had in the store, and didn't like it as much, so we took it back, and order the same one online again! We just love it. Sturdy, large enough and good clean up.
I purchased this GF grill almost a month ago. It looks as good as the original one we were given many years ago, but the booklet with the original is now a page; the grill with removable plates seems to be the same a before, but it does not heat up like the original one did and I must cook things much longer. Granted, I now have to take more time, the tops do not get brown as before, but it will do the job - just not as well. Of course, had I not accidently dropped our old one, we would not have needed to purchase this one.
It's not that big for what I need it for. Not much room on the grill plates for much food.
we tried both the regular teflon and the ceramic coated removable plate versions, neither is worth the extra money. the tops are so heavy they crush a sandwich and NEVER toast the bread. The heating elements are nowhere near as hot as an original Foreman grill. we returned both with the removable plates, and replaced it with a traditional one again. It may be harder to clean but works so much better. maybe once the removable plate technology is improved we will try again, but for now it's the original all the way for us.
