GORILLA GRIP Scorch Resistant Ironing Board Cover, Silicone Coating, Hook and Loop Fastener Strap, Blue

I tend to scorch ironing board covers easily. I have been using this for a number of weeks and so far only one very light scorch mark has occurred. It is very different from most of my other ironing board covers. I really like this one!

This is the perfect addition to my new board. The velcro tabs hold it down on the sides so I don't have to keep pulling on it. It's thick and cushiony.

Excellent snug fit, does not wiggle around while ironing. Fabric moves smoothly across this pad without friction or snagging. This was a huge upgrade for me.

As it was time to replace my 30-year-old ironing board cover, I researched the subject and bought this brand. It's good. I saved and re-used the additional padding from old one, so now I have a very cushy board. Love the polka dot pattern to jazz up the sewing room.

Combine this with their basic ironing board, and you have a very good setup rivaling what costume designers use.

It is not a pretty cover but very functional. I believe it makes ironing easier as fabrics slide easily on the cover.

Gorgeous so I'm keeping it, and I'm sure it's functional, haven't used it yet, but it doesn't “fit” well, hence the low rating. It's a little too big and sadly doesn't come with anymore than 2 Velcro assemblies underneath to make it a seamless smooth surface. Like I said, more of a hassle to return and the looks and quality are unbeatable, but for those more serious about ironing, I would stay on the market for something with a more snug fit or some drawstrings or bungies.

The cover is very well made. Unfortunately, the padding is very thin. I will need to add another padding just to make it thick enough for ironing without leaving marks from the ventilation holes.

It does have more padding than most other covers I've tried, but the padding still isn't as thick as my old cover. I guess they just don't make them like that anymore. Also, the coating makes the clothes stick to it, rather than slide. Maybe it just needs to wear off from use. Time will tell.

I bought this ironing board cover because my last one was too thin so when I ironed, the grid pattern from the ironing board would transfer to the fabric I was ironing. The description specifically said that this was a thick pad and would prevent this exact type of thing from happening. When I received the pad, it was thinner than my last one. Every item I iron has the ironing board pattern transferred onto it. I have to put a thick towel between the board and the cover to prevent this from happening. Useless item. Deeply disappointing.
