Great Northern Popcorn Original Spinner Stovetop 6.5 Quart Popcorn Popper - Theater Popcorn at Home!

Popper is easy to use and lightweight. We make a slightly sweet popcorn with sugar and need the stir rod at the bottom to keep the sugar from burning. Works great!

Finally a popcorn popper that I like and made great popcorn. I have bought so many poppers I didn't care for. I used regular oil instead of Orville's popcorn oil because it leaves the popper too sticky. As soon as I put the heat to it, I started cranking. Worked great.

Excellent corn popper, few, like 3 to 5 un-popped kernels: I really dislike it when a micro wave bag has half the popcorn unposed or an air popper blows out dozens of unposed kernels. This is the solution to wanting excellent popcorn every time. Follow directions wipe down after use to clean.

at 84 i have popped a lot of popcorn....from stove to micro..now..back to stive and i sooo enjoyed using this item! back to basics..and happy..i have frozen shoulder, and was a little worried for turning, stirring, but, i knew shaking a pan was not going to happen..tired of other autos and micro...i used, and it took "seconds" on med low gas, and i hardly knew i was turning the spinner...light weight and easier than i have ever had for popping corn!!..had 2 old maids from their measures of 1/2 cup of orvilles corn..i used avacado oil...hold handles correctly for safety and ease...love it..and superbowl day will be beyond chips and dip:)

We had one of these growing up and nostalgia won out. So far I have had no problems. We make about 10 batches of popcorn a week in this and after two months we have had no problems, not even a burn Mark. Better flavor that our air popper and I think the quality of the popcorn has been better as well.

I love this popcorn maker. Use it every night. Pop it in some evoo, no butter, just a little salt. All I have to do is wipe it out for the next time. Best purchase ever.

I was looking for a simple, inexpensive popcorn popper that would deliver crisp, crunchy popcorn like my 40 year old one did before it finally bit the dust. The Great Northern Original Spinner Stovetop was so easy (and fun!) to use and provided an enormous bowl of wonderful popcorn. If you don't mind cranking the handle, give it a whirl, pun intended.

The pot slides around on my glasstop due to the handle and spinner being on one side of the pot. The lid doesn't open when trying to pour and the one time it did, the whole lid/handle fell off the pot. I have to use oven mitts to hold the handle on the lid open to pour and while the directions use 1/2 cup of seeds, it's much easier to handle with slightly less or it gets packed too tight. Not too hard to clean and I appreciate not dirtying up my other pots every night

Very cheaply made. Thin aluminum, very disappointed in this product.

Cheap. Description states stainless steel. My item says aluminum. I could bend the thing with my hands. I should know better than to buy from Wal mart. Thank God for Amazon.
