Great Value Cream Of Chicken Condensed Soup, 10.5 oz

The family size is a substitute for the regular size they were out of. This is actually a soup i could eat as a soup because its flavorful. I usually only cook with soups. It has the correct amount of texture, salt and flavor. So im.happy with the substitute, which I did request.

The great value cream of chicken soup is just as good as Campbell’s cream of chicken soup… So what great value you are getting a better value with great taste… A lot of recipes cause for cream of chicken… So I make sure I have 2 to 4 cans on hand at all times… so don’t hesitate on which one to choose. And get the same quality at a better price.

I like the great value brand because it doesn’t have all the added bad stuff that the name brands do. Since chemo I’ve started reading labels more often and have been impressed that GV has better ingredients for us. Thank you GV, please keep it up. And the taste is very good.

I liked the cream of chicken soup. The cream of chicken soup comes in an aluminum can. The can holds 2.5 servings. Each serving has about 80 calories. The soup is heat healthy. The cream of chicken soup has less sodium in the soup. The spice that stands out in taste is black pepper. I used the cream of chicken soup for lunch and for dinner. The yummy soup is fulfilling as it is scooped and dipped to be eaten. I added water to my soup to get the 2.5 servings. However, you can add milk to the cream of chicken soup too. Anything that is concentrated and you still have to dilute it! May be a bit salty otherwise it's Not! When am planning on using the chicken soup for meals I place it in a large bowl but I'm adding Great Value chicken or vegetable broth. Stir it up and add it to your cooking. The broth comes in a large box " recyclable " , affordable and it's good to add it in for so many meals plus it moisten dry dog food. Kids they get sick and at times a fussy eater. In the freezer section Great Value has chicken nuggets or tenders and PLEASE have a Air Fryer! Take the chicken cut in cubes and make it crispy and add a few bites in with the soup. Serve with crackers or rice and knowing that you're child ate a warm meal for which will make them full, they also took a bit of protein. My daughter and I did the math, soup %26 nuggets this is Great Value now. Total $4.76 and to make it .19¢. affordable. My grandson, roommate and girlfriend started food shopping at Walmart. Like I tell them look for " Rollbacks" " Deals " and do your meals around the products. The soup with chicken tenders, and boil some pasta. place the chicken on top of the noodles and pour the chicken soup right over or tenders can simmer in the soup and then over noodles. With kids throw in corn and which them eat. Plus this makes a fast dinner when you just get off from work and it works great for Dads! It was raining and I? Now I will start of by saying for the price different this is a great choice. However as someone who has issues with high salt , this soup is very salty forward, and the saltiness does not cook down in recipes, so just know do not add more salt unless you want sodium issues. Other then that it is creamy, I think the chicken aspect could be better , but it is there. For a store brand it is a good alternative to the um um good brand.

You can also use it as a gravy at party evaporated milk or whole milk with the water that goes with the one can of cream of chicken and stir it and put it on simmer on the stove until it's to the mixture you desire you can pour it over your meat over your boneless chicken breast some people like it over rice

I’ve ordered a lot of items at different times that I didn’t get. I hope I’m not charged for these missing items. It’s so hard trying to get these problems solved. I have to go to another store to get the rest of my groceries %26 I’m handicapped %26 it’s so hard. The reason I’m ordering my groceries with you is out of necessity.

i use this store brand soup in my dishes because it is cheaper than name brand. Because of affordability, I mix a can of this soup with a can of name brand soup to get the flavor from the dish that I am looking for. I usually have to adjust my seasoning of the dish to get the right taste. The only reason I buy n cook with this soup is because it is usually about 30 cents cheaper and I live on a fixed income so cents matter to me.

Strange taste and runny texture. I guess it would be okay if you’re planning on eating it as a soup. But it doesn’t work right when you’re using it for cooking
