Great Value Dry Roasted and Unsalted Peanuts, 16 oz, Jar

Woodpeckers, tufted titmice, blue jays, chickadees, and Carolina wrens all love these UNSALTED peanuts! I tried Wild Birds Unlimited Peanuts (not roasted) and Brown's Roasted Peanuts for birds (weird coating on the peanuts), but the birds will not eat them. Salted peanuts are bad for wild animals.

We've been getting these for years and prefer them over pretty much every other branded or generic peanut we've encountered. Our main uses are general snacking, to customize flavors for snacking (sometimes lightly smoked with a whiskey smoker), to feed the crows and squirrels, general cooking/baking, and for natural peanut butter. These peanuts are always fresh tasting, have a pleasant crunch, and are consistently delicious. We buy several jars a month and have never had a nasty surprise. They're also priced well and seem to be superior to every other unsalted peanut we've tried. So, we'll be happily munching on these for years to come.

I am happy to report that this is my second time buying these unsalted peanuts. I enjoy the peanuts for the "fats" content that given off for a crunch while snacking, eating side dishes, or tasting sauces. The peanuts are good. The peanuts comes in a reusable plastic bottle not a resealable bag. The peanuts are good, and delicious and do not have salt. or pepper. I am happy to report that is is a great buy. Thank you, Walmart.

As a Type II Diabetic finding a good snack food is tough. This peanuts are JUST peanuts. No sugar, no salt, no anything else, JUST PEANUTS. This might not suite everyone's taste or need but it is exactly what I need for a healthy, filling snack that does not spike my blood sugar. No, it is NOT sweet or crunchy or salty. It is however something that I enjoy and is safe to eat.

I use these mainly to feed the squirrels %26 birds. they eat them up ! I have tried them but I'm not a big fan of unsalted peanuts or anything like that. The price is ok, not cheap but also not overly expensive. I would recommend them if you like an unsalted snack.

While I've eaten these peanuts and like them, I actually buy them to throw out to birds and squirrels in my yard, in addition, to bird seed and sunflower seeds. "The experts" recommend feeding peanuts sparingly to our birds and squirrels and any peanut given them should be unsalted and out of the shell. The price is excellent for the taste and amount in the jar. I don't buy any other peanut but these for myself and family AND for the woodland creatures in my back yard!

The peanuts are actually for my squirrels, but they are delicious and the squirrels love them. The price is the best price of any place …Amazon, any of the grocery stores and Walmart gives you the choice to deliver it at any time. It’s wonderful. .

I was going nuts trying to find dry roasted peanuts without the added fats and salts, and here they are! Super crunchy, super tasty, without added seed oils; if you miss the salt, sprinkle some after the fact. These taste far better than the competitions unhealthy seed oil roasted added salt peanut versions.

I've been a little disappointed with both brand name and other store brand peanuts lately. A local health food store used to sell organic dry roasted nut for a decent price but those are MIA now and their non-organic roasted nuts are crazy expensive. Walmart saved the day with these dry roasted, unsalted nuts. They are tasty as sold as a snack or added to meals and I also made my own salted nuts. I just lightly warm a couple of cups of peanuts with only a teaspoon of oil and add a little salt to taste. They make a nice treat with no mystery flavorings. You can also add other seasonings. The main thing is not to use too much oil and do not overheat.

I have congestive heart failure and only order unsalted peanuts. I never want substitutions and have not had an issue until this last delivery. I noticed today that one of my peanut cannisters is salted. Salt is what causes you to have fluid. Fluid is the congestive part of the heart failure and it stops you from breathing normally. I am not supposed to have much salt at all and honestly I only have it when I crave it. Then I can take a fluid pill to reverse the bad part.
