Perfect Snack and Salad Topper Great Value Sun-Dried Raisins are a fantastic pantry staple that the whole family will love. These raisins have a wonderful natural sweetness and a texture that isn't overly crispy, making them a hit with kids as a healthy treat. The 20 oz canister is a great size that is easy to carry along for on-the-go snacking or picnics. I also find they add a perfect burst of flavor when tossed into various salads. Overall, these are high-quality raisins that are both delicious and incredibly convenient.
they stick together a bit more than sun lady does. if your kids don't like sticky, this may be an issue. my kids don't care and i use these in oatmeal. 4 cups water, 2 tabletops sugar. 1 cup raisins, 1 teaspoon real cinnamon, simmer, add 2 cups of fashioned oatmeal, simmer 20 minutes. pour a little milk of your choice on top. so good.
This last carton was absolutely the best plump, fruity, moist! Not sure who was make these before but I had quit buying for several years to eat and fed to the birds! I bought these for the birds but I'll be splitting them with the birds! Very good job WM! Thank you!
I like raisins. These are nice and taste like raisins. I use them in everything. They are very nice in my oatmeal which I soak in milk( soy milk) over night with a touch of honey cinnamon %26 raisins. I can and do put them in many savory dishes too. I was raise ethnic so this is not odd for me. But These are a good value.
These are raisins - dehydrated grapes. I doubt there are any raisins made from the finest grapes usually used to make the finest wines. But really? Who would do that? Point it that once you get away from making fine wine and you're looking to dry out some grapes, you're going to use grapes. You know, the generic ones picked at their peak of ripeness and left out in the Sun. That's what these are. Same as Sun Maid or other top brands. At least they're close enough for me, but I'm not a raisin connoisseur. When you cover these with chocolate, you're really having something that holds the chocolate you're looking for.
I have not bought a box of raisins in a long time, so I decided I needed some, I read the reviews and I tried Great Value Sun-dried Raisins in the 20 ounce Canister. I'm telling you these are the most moist, delicious, wonderful raisins I have ever eaten and much more affordable than the namebrand and is absolutely delicious. I love them!
These are typical raisins, there's nothing unusually good or not-good about them. The container is another story. Now there is 20oz of product packed in a cannister that was designed to hold 32oz. Dollars have shrunk a lot since the 1950s when I learned division from my mother when we went shopping each week.
I always buy these raisins, and they're usually really good; but the last time I bought them, they were ruined—all stuck together in one hard lump, like a rock. It looks like they were exposed to too much sun, and the heat spoiled them. Anyway, I'm going to give it other opportunity.
I recently ordered 4 raisin canisters. I picked up the order and when I got home I noticed that one of the raisin canisters was badly damaged (either dropped or crushed) and someone tried to fix the damage by taping the lid to the canister with packing tape.
Once my auntie ate an ice cream cone and found a bug in the bottom, that came to mind when I got to the bottom half of this that was basically one melded raisin with pores. But...if you need a loose shingle reattached this is your jam! Multifunctional dried bits of what was once grapes, rumor has it.
