Great Value Mini Marshmallows Value Size, 16 oz

I enjoy these little marshmallows for a quick snack and for hot chocolate. I don't eat gluten or any kind of oils so seldom any kind of snacks, so this became my little treat to myself. I watch my sugars also and these satisfy my desire to cheat just a little bit.

TL;DR: Big bag, good texture, and works for cocoa and baking without issues. These mini marshmallows are one of those pantry basics I end up reaching for more than I expect. This is truly a great value for the precious little baby mushrooms. I meant to say marshmallows you'll never eat. I used them to make rice crispy treats, but I end up eating them. All they are an item that you should never waste on the brand name. These are better.

Pleasantly surprised. I've always assumed the name brand was better, but I actually like these better. The texture is softer and I like the flavor better (did not expect to notice such a thing for mini-marshmallows!). Half-a-handful is my go-to "I want a little sweet something" snack. Can't speak to their meltiness in hot cocoa as I haven't tried that.

I used these to make peanut butter rice crispy cookies and they worked great. the recipe called for 10 oz of marshmallows and 6 cups of cereal but I had 4 cups of cereal extra so I improvised and melted this 16 oz bag of marshmallows with 6 TBsp butter then added 3/4 cup of peanut butter (instead of the 1/2 cup required for the 10 oz recipe) on low heat I melted that together and poured it over the 10 cups of cereal and stored it to coat evenly. I pressed it into a buttered 9x13 inch casserole pan. I used a little pan spray on my hands. then let it cool thoroughly...they were GREAT! These mini marshmallows melt so very well!

These are every bit as good as the marshmallows that cost WAY more. I use them to make peanut butter rice crispy treats. The 10 oz bag is the perfect amount to melt with 4 TBsps of butter and then add 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter. take it off the heat but stir until smooth then add 1 tsp of vanilla. pour this over 6 cups of crisp rice cereal and stir until well coated, then press it into a buttered 9 x 13 pan for thinner treats, use a 9x9 one if you want them thicker. I have 'frosted' them with some melting chocolate I bet adding in some chocolate chips or raisins would be really good too. dang it, now I wanna make some of these and try that...off to Walmart to get the things I need <grins>

Used these to top Candied Sweet Potatoes (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-Sweet-Potatoes-10-oz-Frozen/106137651). Also, use them on top of My Hot Chocolate. : ) They were, nice and Fresh. Nice size bag(so, won't take long to use up). Worked out for me. Yes, I would recommend this product.

If you've got hot cocoa, you've gotta have these. They're soft, sweet, and melt just right on top, exactly what you want from mini marshmallows. Same taste and texture as the name brands, just without paying extra. Also great for baking or snacking, but let's be honest… most of these end up in mugs of cocoa around here. A simple pantry staple that does its job perfectly.

The particular bag of marshmallows was not fresh, the marshmallows were all stuck together in a big clump. I had to pull the marshmallows apart to separate them for use. I recommend just paying more for the brand name of this item. Some Great Value items are just as good as name brands, but in this case, stick (no pun intended), to the name brand of this item.

I disliked the fact that I did not get this item or any other items as they were not delivered to my address. the picture taken by the deliverer is OT of my front door. this is a very large complex, I'm 80 yrs old and cannot chase all over God's snow covered earth to find who got my order. I reported to your store they gave me an 800 number, I called and hit AI which to me they were issuing a credit, never received one. I'm out $158 no groceries no money.
