(2 pack) Great Value Light Corn Syrup, 16 fl oz

Poorly informed consumers equate corn syrup with High Fructose Corn Syrup, a different product with a higher and unhealthy glycemic index. This is wholesome stuff as far as sweeteners go. I can't detect any added vanilla flavor but they claim its there. I use this in my whipped cream charger - one third cup of syrup, some vanilla extract and heavy cream makes a nice whip. I also keep the dark corn syrup on my table for pancakes and waffles. It is good without the illusion of fake maple syrup. Support our hard working farmers!

I use this stuff all the time!! You can make a lot of things with it but I usually use it for making all kinds of candy and Taffy!! The price is very cheap compared to the name brand stuff and I can't tell any difference in the taste!! it's very affordable too

way cheaper than name brand and tastes basically the exact same! don't know why there was only a two pack for shipping option but was cheap so i still got it! works perfectly for icing, candied fruit, those are a few things i've used it for but it works amazing for everything you could imagine

No idea if there is any difference, in brands of corn syrup, I imagine it is a lot like sugar all of it is about the same, got it for one new recipe was trying out. Recipe came out fine, though the not something I will be making again anytime soon, it was way more work than I am willing to do.

Consistency is great! I make royal icing sugar cookies as a hobby, and switched over to this corn syrup and it works great! Had no issues. Texture is similar to all other corn syrups I've used.

I used this for my holiday baking. The sweetness and consistency are equal to its pricier name brand counterpart. As an added bonus, Walmart ships this item for free.

One of the four bottles had dried syrup all down one side. the seal is intact which suggests that this happened during the factory packaging process. it should never have left that facility. we have bought %26 used this before with great results while saving money 😁

Why does one bottle (picture available) have an external seal, while the other could be opened and poured out without any seal. They are from the same batch. Was the one tampered with? Should I be afraid to use it? If so, please let me return it!

I did a delivery the seal on it should be better it's so easy to turn and tamper with it I'm scared to use it they should put a extra seal over the opening when you open it as well.

Not happy with receiving this corn syrup due to the fact that the description(without looking at the picture), only states it is light corn syrup 16 fluid ounce. So when ordering I knew I needed light corn syrup 16 fluid ounces I did not think I needed to also look at the picture where the picture is the only place that indicates it is corn syrup with vanilla. Which makes no sense, since, when making candy the vanilla will cook out by the time it's done. Not happy that they do not indicate that it has vanilla in the ingredient.
