Great Value Oregano Leaves, 0.87 oz

Please trust me when I say that oregano is a must in almost all your food. And you have to use more of it than you think. It's so good for you, good for immunity, for protection of the immune system and allergies and stomach issues. And it tastes so good. This is the brand I get because it's all I can afford. It's great nutrients fgokd for your liver, for growing your immune system and taste buds. But listen, if you're just a little witchy it's great for that too!

this oregano has an incredibly strong scent and flavor. obviously, it is dried, so it's not exactly the same as fresh, but I was very surprised when I popped this open and found that it was pretty easy to add too much of it. I'm a huge lover of oregano, and I have purchased the Great value brand before, because it's what I can afford. My oregano plant sadly died. So I don't get it fresh anymore. But as far as desiccated spices go, usually they have a much more muted flavor and they require a much heavier amount. but these are very fragrant, and equally strong in flavor. having purchased this brand before, I didn't think that of the previous bottles I got. I'm not sure if maybe this is just a particularly strong batch or maybe a relatively new batch so it hasn't been on the shelf as long, or what the deal might be, but I was surprised by how tasty this is and the fact that I was able to almost overpower a sauce with it. almost.

what can you say about or oregano? I purchased this great value product to save money and it was well worth the savings. you can't go wrong with oregano and you cannot go wrong with great value products give them a try today folks and no I do not work for Walmart 😊

Believe it or not I have to buy the nabisco chicken and the biscuit crackers and the squeeze cheese every month for me and the kids, but the kids renamed the chicken and the biscuit crackers to “bock- bock” crackers because the box has a chicken on it. It's oregano, and it does exactly what you want it to do. Good flavor, works great in sauces, pizza, and all the usual recipes. I've used it plenty and never felt like I was missing anything compared to more expensive brands. This is one of those everyday herbs that just needs to work, and this one does. Simple, reliable, and a great value.

Why did you try it yet but I bought them to make a hot cup of tea with and let it simmer in the water and add some other ingredients. Everybody should have oregano in their house.

It is oregano. It does oregano things. Good for pizza, pasta, and anything where you want that classic Italian flavor without thinking too hard about it. The flavor is there, just not super strong or fresh tasting. You might need to use a little extra to get what you want. It works fine and gets used, but it is not anything special. Solid pantry basic, just nothing to get excited about.

I absolutely love this oregano but as with all of my favorite Walmart products it has gone up in price! It has always been $1.00 now it is $1.08! I know it is not much but food costs just keep chiseling away at my pocketbook!! Two weeks ago I started shopping at Safeway!
