One thing that products at Walmart have in common? Turnover. For the most part you get fresh products because, with a sweet price point for many grocery items, there is significant turnover in inventory. This results in a double win: freshness and sweet savings.

these are every bit as good as the red box brand but for a whole lot less. And since Walmart contracts out ALL its great value /equate products WITH THE BRAND NAME COMPANIES, for all i know these great value might actually be Sun Maid, but a heckuva lot less expensive.

These are very fresh and flavorful. We both love Sun Maid raisins, with the cost of inflation we been using GV/Equate brand more often %26 these save a little bit~~~every little bit matters~~ and we were surprised at how good they were. We wouldn't of known they were not Sun Maid brand if we didn't buy them ourselves and eat them. They are plump, fresh, and tasty.

earliest raisins are absolutely sweet they are great to make candy with I usually make chocolate covered raisins it's good for in your cereal or just to give your kids for a snack I do it all the time they love them put them on a piece of celery and peanut butter and add your eggs and answer the log kids love it

These raisins are just as good as any other brands. I didn't see any difference. I eat them as a snack and I also use them in cooking - I've used them in cakes and in pineapple chicken casseroles with sweet potatoes. Delicious and fresh every time I buy them.

I don't know why the price of raisins keeps going up, but I do know that going without them is not worth the pain. C'mon, even since the Biblical old days raisins were part of paradise and they still are today. A hadful of 'em with chocolate chips, or tossed ina muffin, or mixed with rice and veggies for proper Indian Biryani. You just gotta have raisins in your life.

The raisins are great to add to the daily cereal or to a yogurt parfait. Don't bake any, so can't say how they work in cookies etc. The one thing which is good and bad - they are moist and sticky to touch. That means they are fresher perhaps. But that means they are tad messy as a handy snack. But not complaining :-)

I love raisins and wanted to like these. They might be better if using them in a cooking recipe but to eat by the handful I wouldn't recommend them. The raisins were dried out, which is a raisin. But in this case, when eating them I felt like I was eating grains of sugar instead if dried fruit.

I can't understand others' positive reviews. The raisins that I have bought is full of sand when you try to eat it, Brand New out of the box. I think it's contaminated when they dry it. Or maybe, the manufacturer did not wash it enough after harvest.

I buy these raisins continuously. This box tastes sour with a sharp after taste. I tried to return but my whole order was tagged return expired on Dec. 31st. I didn't buy them until May 8th. Doesb't make sense to me. My older orders are still eligible vor return.
