The Montreal steak season is one that I will continue to enjoy and use for my poultry. It can be used by itself or as a base for anything I cook, even veggies. I love that I don't have to use much as a little goes a long way and has a great flavor and texture.

It's excellent for all kinds of meat, especially if you use a special cut. If you want a bolder flavor, I recommend marinating the meat for a few hours so it really soaks up the taste. You don't need a bunch of different seasoning jars, this one has it all and tastes delicious.

I like this steak seasoning. I typically use a sirloin steak or a New York strip, rub olive oil oil on both sides pat the Montreal steak seasoning into the steak and sear on medium low heat uncovered for 5 to 6 minutes. The seasoning is really good and pretty much all you need on a steak.

This is the most amazing seasoning for almost any meat and maybe even potatoes. I believe Rachel Ray uses it in her cooking from what I saw in some of her cookbooks I have. It's just a little spicy for the young ones but delicious on steaks, and you don't even have to grill the meat!

This seasoning is very universal and adds a perfect amount of flavor. I tried this on steaks and hamburgers and both turned out amazingly flavorful. I know that this is a steak seasoning, but it turns out that it's much more versatile than that! I use this to make a spice crust on a pork loin that I had marinated, and then baked, and it turned out great! Definitely not limited to just using this for steaks, you could probably also add this to asparagus or other hearty vegetables that you are baking in the oven. Smoky and peppery and surprisingly good!

I have always enjoyed McCormick products. This Montreal seasoning has been a staple in my family's home for years, as long as I can remember. The flavor is always there and well rounded. The only complaint I have is that it's chunky and i don't like a chunky seasoning.
