Great Value Black Pepper Grinder, 4 oz

During dinner, I bit down on what I thought was a piece of glass while eating baked potato. None of the ingredients on the potato was out of glass containers, so I started searching where it could have come from. Looking at the pepper grinder, we saw where a piece missing from the grinder that must of fell in my food. Biting down on that was not a pleasant surprise.

Not really sure if grinding it yourself makes much a of a difference, but if you want to feel better than other people who use pre-ground black pepper it's great. Look at you, you little home chef. Doing the twisty pepper dance. I bet Gordon Ramsey would love your wednesday night casserole with freshly ground black pepper..

Its definently refillable! Use a flat head screwdriver and between thr base and turning grind, slide the flat head around it while popping it up. Granted the refill is just as much as the grinder itself so if you dont want to fight with it, just buy another grinder. The refill will completely refill the grinder and you will have some leftover as well. So in the long run the refill is the best bet. I love these grinders, they work well, yes you cannot adjust the course coming out but you can wither buy McCormick brand or a fancy grinder somewhere else. They are tough to turn to grind but thats because real pepper is in tiny balls, your grinding up a mini rock. So want fresh pepper and a afforadable grinder, buy this and buy the refill. All you need it a flathead screwdriver to remove the cap.

The design of the container is painful to use and causes me to give up before I get enough content out of the jar. This is a useless design that obviously was never tested on humans. The cost is just as much as 10 oz of pepper corns. I purchased a separate grinder and am hoping I can crack this container open to at least utilize the corns because there's no easy way to extract the stuff from this glass container, I'll have to smash the plastic grinder. Note that the tapering at the grinder twisty thing is such that it bites into your hand when you twist, I even tried using a rubber glove to get a grip but that didn't work very well, this is just a completely useless product that should not exist.

these are super great products super great grinder when you're done with it just toss it that's great value

It is so hard on your hands to twist it, I gave up and poured the pepper corns into an old grinder. Jeez😬

I do love this grinder the grate works well and the seasoning is just right.. I keep it in my kitchen with all my other condiments to use when I am cooking.

We absolutely love, great value brand, especially this black pepper. You get a lot for your money and we've never had an issue with the top not working.

Great item for the kitchen very nice looking and clean. Gave it 4 stars because sometimes it's difficult to grind and it just stuck causing whole pepper seeds to get into food

I dislike that the grinder is a little tricky when starting. If your hands are damp it doesn't work at all. I will buy it again but just wish the grinder were easier to use.
